Popped in on the way through to North Wales and had some lovely food. The service was great, the locals were very friendly, and dogs were very welcoming, we will call back in very soon

Super friendly staff. Popped in on route home for a bite to eat and despite being busy, understaffed and out of most of the food items they served us. The pizzas were lovely and the chips were super tasty. Cheap and cheerful. Would pop in again. Easier access to the garden would be great but that's the only criticism I could level at them and tbf it looked like they were starting on some works there

A lovely country pub with friendly locals willing to give advice on the surrounding area.

The full English breakfast was massive and was probably the best full English I've ever had in any pub anywhere. Highly recommended .

We stopped by for a bit of food while passing through. The locals were welcoming and helpful, and the portion of food for what you pay for is huge! Very generous with great prices. You can tell you have your regulars in there which I know can be off putting in places but this really wasn’t the case. We felt comfortable being there and everyone gave us a wave and said goodbye when we left. If you’re considering stopping here, do it!

What a cracking dog friendly pub.
The locals and the staff make you feel very welcome.
Excellent home cooked food and the portions are huge.
Our group of 12 then pre booked breakfast to break up our holiday homeward bound.

A huge thankyou to all the staff.
We will return.

Always stop here for a break on journey. Excellent service, good food and good choice of drinks and coffees etc. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Very clean toilets and ample parking. Recommend.

We have just left..we are travelling to Blackpool and my husband and I were both hungry. Upon entering we notice the decor was a bit outdated however the lady behind the bar quickly showed us the menus and told us to order at the bar when ready. We quickly choose what we wanted. The food more than makes up for the decor..it was outstanding..home cooked very good quality food. Well worth a stop.

Visited Sunday 20th June 2021. We were a party of 4 The Youngs and the Brown's. Meal was lovely 3 Beef 1 Pork. 1 Beef just Carrots and peas. 3 Sweets Crumble and Custard. Meal and sweet was lovely and price was a surprise for the size of what we got. Would highly recommend going there. Service was great. Thanks to all the Chef and service provided.

Beautiful home cooked food which was delicious.
From walking through the door we were made to feel very welcome. ( 5 adults , 2 children + 1 dog ) .. we popped in as we were passing as we had been on a day out whilst stopping at Fforest fields camp site .. and wow I am pleased we did.
Just what we needed.. real home cooked delicious food.
Thank you xx

Serves food from 9am to 9pm so great for breakfast, lunch, or supper. Visited with a large group and everyone was happy with the food. Nice beer too. There is a pork butcher on site but we didn't sample it (this time).

The owners stated 'newly decorated' but we are unsure. The food was great, plenty of choice and confidentially catered for 3 coeliacs out of a of 6. Cider choice was good. Did not stay so can not comment on b&b side

Great atmosphere. Dog friendly. Good place to stop for dinner when passing though. Pizza menu only on a Tuesday in January. Pizzas are good though.

Lovely, cosy pub and the owners could not be more friendly, welcoming and helpful! We broke down on the way from Cheshire to Tenby and luckily very near the pub! Not only did they serve us great food, they also helped us call the local garage and get us on our way! Thank you very much for your fantastic hospitality - we'll be back!
