came to Cheltenham for a language trip in autumn 2022 and found this lovely book shop on my way through town. i asked for a book recommendation, naming The Lord of the Rings as my favourite book. the person behind the counter - I forgot his name - gave me a copy of Robin Hobb Assassin's Apprentice for £2. now, it is one of my favourite book series as well.

the guys who worked there at that time were really friendly, the selection was far better than i expected from a charity shop and - at least from my tourist's point of view - the prices were great as well. if i was in Cheltenham, or anywhere else in the UK, i'd definitely visit again.

Seeking costumes for my annual family Christmas video. Inside is clean and well laid out with friendly courteous staff as you might expect from a charity shop. Decent stock too especially the clothes. Didn't find what I needed but recommended anyway and a great charity to boot.
