Forest Dog Rescue

Well laid out. You can see the staff are very devoted and passionate with there charges, and take time to fully explain the situation of each dog. Large field areas for dogs to exercise in, and play areas outdoor and covered.Would highly recommend a visit if your looking for a four legged companion.

Forest dog rescue is a great charity, we did volunteer dog walking with my son before finally getting matched with the perfect dog for our family. Staff are amazing and offer lots of additional support. There are so many dogs needing a second chance.

An amazing rescue centre with the dogs best interests truly at heart. I found beautiful Rose at Forest Dog Rescue who I'm very happy to be adopting this week. The staff have been welcoming and really helpful throughout the whole process, introducing me to Rose at their lovely country-based centre and answering every query I've brought to them, big and small. I admire the work they do immensely and wish them all the best!

Forest Dog Rescue is an excellent rescue kennels with caring and understanding staff who are committed to the welfare of the animals who come to them with the intention of matching them to the perfect new homes. I recently took on a temporary foster dog with the intention of assessing him in the home environment, as his behavior in kennels meant he wasn't able to be put up for adoption. He turned out to be a wonderful, loving dog with the right people, and the staff helped every step of the way, maintaining communication and offering advice. Working in kennels can be a heart-wrenching job, however these folks do an incredible task ensuring every animal is as happy as can be.

Just simply doing the right thing for the dogs in their care. But doing anything 'simply' is an extraordinary feat of accomplishment. Everything they do is from love.

Absolutely fantastic place to rescue a dog. All the staff are so caring and helpful. We have literally taken a rescue dog today named Tilly.
She is wonderful and we couldn't thank the staff enough!

What a lovely place they have here. Everyone is so friendly and they do a fantastic job in rehoming dogs.
Everything you could hope for in finding a dog it's forever home.

We try and go to as many of their car boot sales and Fun days as we can. The volunteers who help at these are absolutely amazing, raising as much as they can for the dogs who are in their care . If it wasn't for these, it's heartbreaking to think what would happen to these dogs.

Dropped off 4 bags/box's of dog food and a cash donation, staff member was very appreciative and friendly, we had a little chat about our dogs. Will definitely be going there when the gtime comes to get my next rescue dog.

I had my pet dog from here, and they are very helpful and thorough. There was a home visit before I was accepted and follow up telephone calls later. Very, very professional.

We got our rescue dog from forest dogs and the work they put in the looking after them and their wellbeing with making sure they get the right home is second to none. Caring and friendly staff. Was a delight to go through them to get our new addition

We have just adopted a dog from Forest rescue and all the Staff were more than helpful and very knowledgeable about all the dogs in the kennels. The actual adoption of the dog was made very easy and we were made to feel comfortable that if there were any problems they were more than glad to help out.
All in all after visiting other dog adoption centres these were by far the best. Be prepared to be patient as more often you have to leave a message on answer phone, but they will get back to you.

Had an amazing jack Russel from this rescue. Everything they said he was and more. Previous dog also had from them. Exceptionally good in finding the right home for each dog. Staff amazing and better care I have never seen for the dogs in their care.

I have adopted my dog from Forest Dog Rescue. The whole team is wonderful, the dogs are well kept, walked and fed. They are all under a vet. They want and do check that each dog goes to the right family doing a house check before adoption. I highly recommend this rescue if you are looking to adopt, volunteer or have donations for the dogs. They have a great Facebook page and website. So check out when the next car boot or fete is to help raise money.

I went to walk the dogs this morning. Was greeted, filled in a form and shown around. The staff member helping me gave me clear instructions and introduced me to my dog, I was given lots of information about him and enjoyed a nice long walk around the fields with him. Even got to enjoy some play time in the paddock.
It’s always nice to give back to dogs in rescue. Although I’m not in a position to take on another dog I always feel better when I’ve managed to give some time walking rescue dogs. Will hopefully get to make it a regular visit.
