Would absolutely recommend Rachel, she created a beautiful three-tiered cake for our wedding. All three flavours were delicious and it looked incredible. She matched sugar flowers to the bouquets which was such a nice touch. The process was so smooth from start to finish and as soon as we had our initial consultation we knew we wanted Rachel to be the one to make our wedding cake.

Rachel created the most wonderful cake for our wedding earlier this month. She was incredibly quick to respond throughout the process, and the cake tasting in her amazing studio was really fun! The guests absolutely loved the flavours, and we loved the semi-naked design that Rachel produced. She liaised directly with our florist to get the fresh flowers on the morning of the wedding which meant we didn't have anything to worry about. We couldn't recommend Rachel highly enough - she was fantastic!

From the very beginning of our wedding cake journey Rachel was just amazing! Before even booking our date with Rachel she was so patient and informative, answering all of our questions and giving us plenty of advice. When you plan (and consequently reschedule) a wedding in the middle of a pandemic, having suppliers who are supportive, understanding and flexible is literally GOLD. Rachel has been one of the people who has been flexible, calm and supportive in the middle of a wedding hurricane. We shared ideas through pinterest pictures, had a Zoom call which felt like Rachel gets us as a couple and the vision of our cake completely. We decided to go with a coffee and lemon cake - aka 'fresh and tasty' - for our summer wedding, and the result of it has been beyond beautiful and tasty. We received so many compliments for the cake and are delighted to have a couple of pieces left for us in the freezer :). Rachel is a joy to work with and she truly puts your mind at ease. I contacted Rachel after two businesses I had view for my sons wedding at Hyde House was not suitable.
Rachel immediately was on board. With only a few months to plan we had chosen a beautiful two tier cake with a beautiful dessert Table filled with cake pops, mini cup cakes, regular cup cakes and other beautiful flavoured desserts.
She was professional and explained everything from delivery, cake stands and collection, also a variety of flavours to choose from. She was always ready to answer my emails and enquiries which showed me that she was able to deliver and exceptional and phenomenal service.
The overall display was a masterpiece. Our guests from America, UK and overseas were overwhelmed with the whole experience. Rachel-thank you - your the best x

Our wedding cake was exactly what we imagined and more. Rachel did an incredible job of creating our vision. Considering is was 3 tiers and entirely gluten free the entire cake got eaten by the guests, which just goes to show how tasty it was.

We highly recommend Cake by Rachel for your wedding - not only did our cake look absolutely stunning but tasted as good as it looked, every bit of it got eaten! Rachel is lovely and we really enjoyed meeting her for the cake tasting - it was so hard to choose as all the flavours were so nice. Rachel made an elegant, simple cake for our wedding which was just amazing! We had x3 different flavours in ours, a raspberry and white chocolate, salted caramel and carrot cake! The cake was so yummy, it was enjoyed by all our guests with no leftovers. Thankfully my Mum saved myself and my husband a slice which we enjoyed the next day with a cup of tea. In addition Rachel worked alongside the florist with fresh flowers which was greatly appreciated! If you are looking for a wedding cake, I certainly recommend Rachel. She is amazing at what she does!

Rachel is amazing, she made us the most wonderful wedding cake which just looked and tasted amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and the cake turned out better than I ever envisioned! I could not be happier.

Rachel baked our wedding cake and it was absolutely delicious; we went for a semi naked 3 tier with a different flavour on each layer and we couldn’t fault a thing. It looked amazing and tasted even better! We didn’t get to meet Rachel for a tasting session prior to the wedding as we were in lockdown but she solved this problem by posting us cupcakes to sample, what a treat! Ordering and sorting the cake with Rachel was a completely stress-free process, she always responded to any questions quickly and liaised with our florist to organise the flowers to decorate the cake. Our guests loved the cake, we had so many compliments. We would highly recommend! :)

It was lovely to work with Rachel to design our wedding cake. The initial meeting was so relaxed and we knew we had chosen the right person to work with! Rachel’s flavours are absolutely delicious and despite us going for a more simple design, it was everything we wanted! Rachel was extremely professional and helped us with the set up on the day, offering to style the table with decor we had bought ourselves. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rachel to any other engaged couples in Oxfordshire. Communication was good throughout and we were very happy - thanks again Rachel!

We used Rachel for our wedding July 2017 and I'm so pleased that we did. Neither of us really had a clue what we wanted, or indeed what flavours, so Rachel made us a huge selection of cupcakes to try different ones out. My goodness, they were SO tasty! Whilst there, Rachel showed us loads of her previous work, and her manner was so warm and helpful that we pretty much booked her on the spot! Throughout the planning of my wedding, my theme changed several times, and Rachel was so helpful each time I got in contact, even suggesting things that I really hadn't thought of. On the day the cake was there looking gorgeous, and she worked with our flower suppliers in order to have fresh flowers on the cake that matched my bouquet. I literally squealed with the delight when I saw it, it was exactly what I wanted, and it tasted amazing!! She's so good that one of my other friends has already booked her for her wedding! Thank you Rachel for such a fun and easy experience.

We were overwhelmed by the cake when we saw it on our wedding day! I sent Rachel a rough sketch of the cake, and it was exactly as we had sketched! The monogram, stars, edible flowers - all perfect. And the taste was amazing!

We met Rachel on zoom (as during lockdown) and she recommended a few tweaks to the cake and her suggestions were perfect.

My advice, ask for macarons on the cake! Incredible texture - full of flavour, and really made the cake 'pop'

Nothing was too much trouble and I'm sure we will be using Rachel again for future celebrations!
