This is a small family run camp site, the facilities are basic but clean, there is an onsite cafe that sells a wide variety of meals at very reasonable prices, perfect place for walking and quiet

Really nice cafe offering one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, all cooked to order and at a really keen price. It's a few yards of the road so you will need to keep an eye out for the signs just outside the 30 limit. Well worth a visit and recommended!

We cannot thank the owners enough for going above and beyond by helping us with transport during our Mortimer Trail adventure. Thank you so much. The Full English breakfast at the on-site cafe was just what we needed on the second day of our walk. Beautiful location.

This small site offers a base camp to stay for activities in near by Breacon, Hereford, Leominster and more. Plenty electric hookups on a nicely maintained field. Family run and welcoming, with a small cafe if your craving that all day breakfast or cream tea. Basic toilets, with small shower cubical, but clean. With another toilet around the side with disabled access and small washing up area. Multi million pound camp site its not, but lovely place to pitch up and enjoy the county. Local walks, and local pubs. Main Road gets a bit busy so recommend drive down to the community center co or riverside pub co or maybe at Mortimers cross for those local walks.

Amazing friendly warm welcome, lovely little site with cafe and small shop on site. Toilets and showers very clean and tidy. Lovely garden to site in around the cafe area. Breakfast in the cafe very tasty and good size portions, very good value for money. Ideal for a weekend visit or over night stop. Would definitely recommend.

We were visiting friends who were holding a rally on the premises. Nice basic site but owner is very accommodating, they had a portaloo and had erected a large tent for social use. The cafe has good, we had a takeaway fish and chips but there were other meals on offer. Seating is available outside. Overall for our short stop it is a nice place with friendly staff/owners.

One of the quietest, bar the occasional road traffic noise, most peaceful campsite I have been too. Amenities are basic but work. There are recycling facilities.
Mark and Wendy are hospitable hosts and Gareth and Mark cook great food from locally sourced produce. The lemon cheesecake was to die for. Rates and prices very reasonable. The kids loved it as ample room to play.
It was great to sit out at night, look at the stars and listening to the owls talking to each other across the valley.
Good chance we will revisit.

We booked 2 nights in our campervan. I phoned Wendy, the owner the night before, as our camper had broken down. However she had a pod available, which she would clean and make up. The Pod is amazing! Cosy and warm. Lovely comfortable double bed, kettle, fridge, TV etc. Patio decking outside with chairs and table . Lovely campsite, toilets showers, washing up area, washing machine. The cafe, The Watering Hole, is brilliant! Meals cooked to order by Gareth (Wendy and Mark's Son) Had a sunday roast delivered to our door! We loved the relaxed atmosphere, so booked an extra night! Wendy, Mark and Gareth are so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a really lovely stay. Will definitely stay here again!

Super Cafe, I stopped for a cuppa, and indulged in a cream tea. Scones were lovely, choice of jams, too much clotted cream and a huge pot of tea. They put the extra effort in to make it perfect. If I lived nearer I'd be a regular visitor.
A must visit refreshment venue.

Superb campsite, even a unexpected cup of tea waiting for us on arrival minimum facilities, however cafe and friendly owners make up for this. Will definitely stay over again
