Mollie's Traditional Sweet Shop

Lovely shop. Served by a really helpful lady who was very patient with us.
Went for the pick your own Jar which was excellent and we were able to fill it right to the top with any mixture of sweets from the jars and pick your own.
Love this place, highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Bought some butterscotch sweets about 2 hrs ago, on the coach back to Cheshire, handed them around. Imagine my shock when the outside wrappers were sticky, when you unwrapped a sweet half of sweet stayed in the wrapper due to them being so soft. My friends went ahhh when they put their hands into the bag. Totally disgusting.

Around about two years ago me and my older brother went in to grab a couple of sweets but obviously covid was around so we went in and i chose my sweets he chose his and when we went to pay the lady at the counter around about 50-54 was going off about how my brother used contactless payment and how no one used cash anymore so me and my brother sent a bad review but im sure that ridiculous lady isn’t working there anymore.

Visited Ludlow with family who came over from Hampshire and my wife was looking forward to spending her money on her favourite sweets but unfortunately we were 1 minute late and the girl still had her hands on the door handle, would they let us in, NO said the lady in the shop, well we couldn't believe it, we will visit again and I know my wife will try again but I certainly wouldn't give them my custom and they must be doing very very well in these hard times if they can turn us away at 1 minute past 5.
