This was our second stay at Aymestrey Lodge. We loved it both times. First Ash, then Oak. Both are well laid out and spacious. Everything you need to a great break. The hot tub was loved by both the adults and kids. The lack of Internet connection meant night of board games and connection with humans. Both lodges comfortably fitted 6 people.

Just returned from a half term break in Beech. Everything was perfect. The cabin was clean and well maintained, and stayed cosy and warm when the temperature dropped. The hot tub was excellent, and it was lovely to spend the evenings outside looking at the moon! The surrounding area is pretty quiet, but that's what makes a break here so relaxing. Ludlow is great for a visit, and if you don't mind a bit of a drive, Hay is lovely too. We visited Stokesay Castle too, which was very atmospheric and in beautiful surroundings.

Absolutely could not fault Aymestrey Lodges. Thanks, we hope to return!

Absolutely beautiful area, the lodges are so lovely. It was such a relaxing weekend, we are already planning our next booking.
We stayed in Beech, the privacy you get even though there are others around is amazing.
The decking area and hot tub were definitely the best bit for us, we spent a lot of time out there. We really enjoyed ourselves, struggled a little without wifi and little signal however we did manage. I do suggest to future visitors to plan any outings before hand, the signal makes it hard to use google for searching the local area.
Would 100% recommend if you are looking for somewhere to relax and reset without distractions!

Thank you very much

Girls Weekend in Beech and Ash
One 6 bed & one 4 bed!
We had the best weekend at this serene beautiful place….the cabins are immaculate, cosy, warm spacious and very well equipped with all things you’d need! We hardly left the cabins…you don’t need too!
I saw a previous review about toilet roll & dishwasher tablets in my experience this is just standard everywhere and we went well equipped with extras as it is a self catering lodge.

The hot tub was immaculate as well as the decking area around it and it was used & well enjoyed throughout our stay.

On our arrival there were some lovely toffee butter biscuits which were a nice little treat with a brew!

Sabrina was easy to talk to/contact if we had any queries & she recommended some lovely walks within the local area.

We had a weekend of absolute bliss & didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be returning in the very near future. Thank you Sabrina & Mark x

Beautiful grounds, lodge was spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a really comfortable stay, we didn't need the heating on much either, as lodge seemed to keep lovely and warm. The hot tub was the best of anywhere we've stayed and again was immaculately
maintained. Can't wait to return in January.

Beautiful lodge (we stayed on Oak), very comfy beds, absolutely spotless and clean. Hot tub was very nice and owners happy to answer any questions and help. Riverside pub 2mins walk away is lovely and parts of it from 1600s.

Had a lovely weekend here and will definitely come back again.

Spent a mid week break here.
If you want a place to unwind from the humdrum of every day life, this is it.
It is very peaceful and quiet, no phone signal, even on EE, I only had 1 bar.
They apparently are getting WiFi installed.

The lodge itself was very good and well equipped with everything you need.
Oven, washing machine, dish washer and fridge freezer.
Beds were comfortable and clean.

Hot tub was warmed up when we arrived and easy to use.

We were visited every morning by a Little Robin, which made us smile.

Highly recommend a break here if you want a quiet, relaxing time.

Aymestrey Lodges is set in a peaceful part of rural Herefordshire, a little off the beaten track and offers a quiet sanctuary for anybody seeking respite from the pressures of modern life.

The cabins are very warm & cosy, full of all the creature comforts. Each one is nestled amongst a variety of shrubs offering them a large amount of privacy, we even had access to our own hot tub!

There are some pleasant walks in the surrounding area and a pub which serves good food nearby. Despite the slightly inclement weather it was so good to reconnect with nature and kick through the autumn leaves.

We had such a peaceful night, I slept like a log (no pun intended).

Just wanted to say thank you so much for such a lovely stay at Aymestrey Lodges. The lodge was really comfortable, well equipped, and very cosy. Our 3yo absolutely loved our 'little wooden house' and thought it was like something out of a fairytale! It was so relaxing being in such peaceful private surroundings, and being able to unwind. From having a cosy evening with my husband over a bottle of wine, to watching the birds outside the window early in the morning with my daughter, we have some lovely memories to take away, even after only a short time.
Looking forward to coming to stay in a few months time with the rest of the family and checking out the pub, and river walk! Thanks again.

Spent a lovely few days here from 12th April. It’s in such a beautiful spot and the lodges are lovely and homely. The grounds are pristine and the hot tubs are superb quality.

Absolutely brilliant few days with family and highly recommended for a bit of time away from it all.

A couple of things to be aware of before going - there’s no wifi (we knew this and went prepared with a portable mobile router). Also, towels are not provided. We didn’t know that beforehand and had to make a trip out to pick some up.

Recently had a wonderful few nights in aymestrys beech lodge.

Lots of helpful pre-arrival information was sent out before arrival, allowing us to do things like book a food order to the lodge on our day of arrival.

Arrival was really easy, and the lodge was clean and a pleasant welcoming space. Everything inside is just what you need, with enough space for plenty of supplies.

The outside spaces are really lovely, and have clearly been well maintained. Lovely private setting for the deck (with table/ chairs and bbq space) and hot tub, not feeling looked over at all.

The grounds are very well looked after, and nice to wander about.

At night there were enough lovely lighting options to make the deck space really nice for a peaceful and quiet relax into the dusk.

One thing of note for the beech lodge, the drive up to the parking space is fairly tight, so take care if you’ve got a really big car.

Clean, peaceful and quiet. Off grid so no signal until you leave the lodge, which was lovely. Wildlife can keep you awake at night so bring earplugs! Hot tub was amazing. Great surrounding restaurants. Local supermarkets to get everything needed.
