I bought a lovely antique pine cabinet and the whole process was a pleasure! David and James were extremely helpful and arranged the waxing and very quick delivery (even though we live in York!) . David assembled the cabinet in my sitting room and it looks even better that it did on the website! David and James are super professional and super friendly!

David has delivered today a pine linen cupboard.
It’s a lovely solid piece and very well priced . Being delivered “stripped ready for waxing “ I was expecting something with a much rougher finish but it’s only going to require light sanding before it’s waxed

From my initial contact with David to delivery the customer support and service has been excellent

I questioned getting this cupboard after reading a very poor review but after dealing with D&J Antiques I can only assume the reviewer was “just one of those customer's”

I will buy from David again

I have bought three items of furniture off David Hunt antiques in the past
as with all antique furniture you can expect some shrinkage as the items adapt to their new environment
to aleviate this as with all solid wood furniture you should never put items near or in front of a heat source and wax polish regularly
I have done this and had no problems with any of the furniture

When you do good business with good people it is a real bonus. Great dealing with James and David.
