A Country Break

We really enjoyed our stay in Long Cover, Fishpools at the end of October 23. October can be an inclement month but after a day's cycling, Long Cover was always warm and welcoming no matter what the weather.
I believe that Long Cover is a barn conversion, very tastefully done, especially the old oak beams that feature in all the rooms to give an ambience that transports you back to a bye-gone age.
The Clearview woodburner. in the lounge needs a special mention because there's nothing like a living fire as a center piece. Well seasoned dry oak was provided by the owner. The fire was so efficient that we didn't use much of it.
The cottage is in open countryside and it's very quiet especially at night ,except for the occasional hoot from one of the local owls.
The owner was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay a very pleasant experience.

We had the chance to stay in Ebony cottage one of 3 available properties at this amazing location. Firstly thanks has to be given to the owner Ellie for creating this area of natural beauty, the grounds, the gardens, the hidden areas to explore and the wildlife just a wonderful natural haven. Ellie herself is a lovely person and excellent host, making you feel right at home and nothing is to much trouble. You can see the love that went in to creating Ebony Cottage, outstanding attention to detail. The cottage is well equipped, spotlessly clean and so cosy, plenty of private patio space, your own garden where you can listen to bees on the lavender and watch the array of birds that come to the feeder. The views are stunning and there are many walks in the surrounding area. We would not hesitate to return to any of the properties but our first choice will always be Ebony cottage a magical little haven. Rach n Glenn xx

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Long Cover Cottage. It was everything we hoped it would be. Set in beautiful countryside our cocker spaniel revelled in the space and ran himself into the ground with his exploring! Ellie is a fantastic host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Our only gripe was that our stay just wasn't long enough and seem to be over in a flash! Thank you Ellie, we shall be back at the earliest opportunity.

I would encourage you to book Ebony Cottage (exquisitely hand built by the owner) or any of the other 2 cottages available in deepest Worcestershire in Fishpools. We had been before a few years earlier. Still lovely. A wonderful setting, lots of gorgeous walks and historical trails everywhere. Relax, take books, your hiking boots. It's like the world that time forgot. Love it xx

Booked the Coach House for my mum and dad through Air BnB for a much needed get-away. The accommodation was truly unique and in a beautiful setting. Their host Ellie was attentive and helpful and made the stay a special one. They really enjoyed the whole trip and said they would definitely recommend to their friends and family.

Cosy Long Cover Cottage
Absolutely beautiful and luxuriously furnished cottage, fully equipped for a peaceful break in the Worcestershire countryside. Set in well established, enclosed 7 acres of gardens with interesting sculptures and secluded seating found at every twist and turn, perfect for dogs and children. Delicious cake baked by the owner on our arrival. Highly recommend a stay here - just superb.

A real escape to the country

A beautifully crafted building in an idyllic setting that gently slows life down and allows you to relax and de-stress. If you prefer birdsong to traffic noise then this is the place for you. We have just spent a week enjoying Ebony Cottage and wish it could have been longer. For us it came at a very stressful time, we are in the middle of our first house move for 30 years, and it was just the tonic we needed. We were warmly welcomed by Eleanor (with cakes) who also kindly allowed me to use my extension lead to charge my electric car from the cottage. There are many walks that can be done direct from the door and in the near vicinity. Kyre Park is worth a walk round. A short trip will find many towns, villages, stately homes, cathedrals and castles to explore. We visited, Ludlow, Tenbury Wells, Leominster and Hereford.

A very well equipped self catering cottage. We stayed in Ebony Cottage which was just gorgeous. A little slice of country heaven. Would not hesitate in recommending, well I would as it's a little secret that you almost want to keep to yourself!

Best place my husband and i have ever been!! Beautiful cottages, pet friendly and the surroundings are breath taking. Staff are brilliant and the local area is lovely with very friendly people. Will be booking again!

Just back from a 3 night stay at Ebony cottage. It was a wonderful stay from every perspective. Tranquil, secluded location on a single track lane. Gorgeous views of Worcestershire countryside. The cottage itself was amazing! Handcrafted with oak beams and furnishing. Lots of light, very stylish and unique. Pristine throughout with lovely ornaments. It was kept wonderfully warm with an Aga and there was a generous sized log burner to keep us really toasty with complimentary wood from a woodshed steps away. We cooked in and found the kitchen really well equipped with all the equipment you’d need and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Perfect. Cooking on the Aga was great! A new experience for us. We took our furry friend and enjoyed walks around the estate and adjacent fields. There are ducks and guinea fowl on the estate and sheep in the adjacent field. It’s blissfully quiet with no road noise. We met Ellie who is a charming and friendly host. The grounds are lovely to walk around with a pond and snug with its own wood burner. This is a gem of a place and a simple cosy, charming, tranquil place to escape to. We’re planning our return! You’ll not be disappointed.

Simply stunning in every way. You'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful location with jaw dropping cottages and a perfect host.

It really is as stunning as the pictures make out!! Had an absolutely lovely weekend here and definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back
