Wellington Home & Gardens

We wanted to find a nice stopping place while travelling back home from holiday and we came across this wonderful garden centre.
The food was fantastic, dogs are welcomed and I then purchased very good quality plants at I think a very good price.
We will definitely be popping in again when we visit mid Wales again!

The customer service at Wellington garden centre is second to none. I am a frequent visitor to the garden centre and cafe but they really went above and beyond for me today when I had a length toddler tantrum with my little girl. The cafe team were really supportive and tried to help me out and the management team were really understanding with an earlier incident in the shop. The quality of plants and associated items to buy are second to none and we love searching round the garden centre for all the animals. The food is superb - the best scones in Herefordshire!

What a lovely place. Visited on a whim and loved everything I saw. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and wonderful stock items to look at. Fun to see the Christmas lights appearing on the shelves.
Lovely cafe with great coffee.

The garden centre itself is just brilliant. So much to look at and dream about owning. My go to place for gifts. Can easily spend a few hours here....and have!

Lovely gentleman came over to chat with us as we were looking at the Shepard's hut. Very informative and friendly.
Great choice of plants and pots. There's also an 'antique' area which has some amazing curios.
Didn't try the restaurant bit...but that's for next time.
Prices vary for all pockets, although having said that we did go over budget, as we fell in love with some unusual flint pots and willow plants.
The lady at the desk, told us how to care for the willows without being asked. Great service and fabulous place to wander

Well done to Emma (Cafe Manager/Supervisor) and her team of youngsters who done a great job this morning as the 'floodgates' of breakfast lovers decended on the cafe for the 10 o'clock opening. There's no chance of a slow or steady start on a Sunday, the team have to hit the ground running and it's noticeable that Emma has got them working as a slick well oiled machine. They are friendly, helpful and a credit to the Garden Centre. ......and the coffee, cakes and breakfast are delicious. Well done to all of you, including those behind the scenes such as chefs and those on 'pan-bash'. All equally important to the success of the whole team.

Good range of plants, pots, garden ornaments and pretty much anything else you need in your garden. Nice place to visit with a restaurant and plenty of parking space.

We had lunch at the cafe (excellent) then picked up 10 bedding plants for £10.

Great place to visit lots of different stuff every time we visit also which is a big plus’s the coffee is the best around.

The cafe is lovely and the staff are nice, in particular a lovely lady I cant remember her name but was the cafe supervisor who noticed I was struggling a little with small dog & my walking stick and was super helpful and carried my food & drink outside for me as it was a lovely day & wanted to sit out. Offered to get a bowl of water for my dog too. I even got some pointers of nice places local to take my dog. Excellent customer service.lovely coffee , yummy scone.

The coffees are lovely, they have a loyalty stamp card for them.The light breakfast was delicious with local products and was certainly delicious and handmade.Shoutout to the chef.The cream scones are amazing too.All this plus its accessible and very dog friendly. Amazing.

First took friends for a Sunday breakfast here a couple of weeks ago and was bowled over at the food. The bacon, Breakfast Bagel was heavenly and so beautifully presented. We've been back since for the raspberry and pistachio pancakes. Oh my goodness, they were awesome. We're heading there again tomorrow which is the highest recommendation I can give.

Lovely welcoming place. Some nice unique gifts and plenty of garden plants and tools. The restaurant is really nice, good value for money and the food is amazing. We had the flat bread butter chicken salad, was full and couldn't manage the lovely looking cakes!

We have recently moved to this area and were thrilled to find this so close to us! It is a gem. We only moved a couple of weeks ago and have been three times already! There is a fantastic and eclectic range of products for both inside and out of the home and we have not left without buying something (s!) so far! A great place for unique gifts.

I would also like to say how wonderful the staff are. From the friendly and intuitive service in the restaurant (the food is lovely too!) to the wonderful lady who is often on the checkouts by the exit. I could stand and chat to her all afternoon! She tells me that they "go big" for Christmas so we can't wait for that to start as we do too!!

The way the tables for the restaurant are laid out inside and in the covered area outside is really nice and makes it a perfect place to meet someone for a drink and some cake (which are gorgeous!). There is also plenty of veggie options which is always a bonus for me.

I love it and I can't praise it highly enough. For the staff to be so happy in their work, it must be just as nice a place to work in as it is to be in as a customer. I think I might pop down there again now!! (They sell nice plants as well in case you thought we only go there for the friendly staff and the cakes!!) It is one of the nicest home and garden centres we know of (and we've been to lots!!)
