The Hop Pocket Garden Centre

We enjoyed toasties and hot drinks in the cafe (v friendly staff), bought a few items from the main shop (birthday presents) and spent a pleasant 90 minutes wandering round. A welcoming place with plenty of parking.

Visited for the first time in many years. The larger shop floor makes it look less cluttered. Good cafe with plenty of outdoor space. Noisy hand-drier. Garden centre is superb, hence the five stars.

DO NOT take your wife here! There is so much variety that they will certainly find something to buy. With my wife it was 4 pairs of shoes. Nice place with a small cafe serving drinks, food milkshakes etc. There are crafts, shoes, handbags, health food, clothes as well as the well stocked garden centre.

Fantastic venue. Great shopping choices, beautifully laid out. Excellent garden centre, plant choice and quality exceptional. Fabulous little restaurant, and if you go wandering around you'll find food & drink, clothes and toys.

Love going here always see things I want cafe also very good for a meal also plenty of cakes. This well stop when you parsing

After going there for awhile we decided to try their cafe and we were NOT disappointed, highly recommend..

Excellent family run business staffed by friendly helpful staff the restaurant was keenly priced meals prepared on site good portions of delicious food. The shops on site selling wide range of diverse keenly priced merchandise well worth a visit you won't be disappointed

Clearly something of a destination, very impressed with the garden centre which has an impressive array of plants and sundries and fantastic staff. Naturally there's the busy cafe, again lovely staff and good service plus food hall (with a brilliant selection of beers, ciders, wines and spirits) and clothes, footwear, furniture and gifts. Highly recommend!!

Every time I go there I would like to buy everything in their toy shop, for my grandchildren. The coffee is excellent too..😁

What a smashing place lots of shops lots of variety you think it's just a little garden center but there's so much more. Pop in have a look around. Nice cafe with lovely seating area outside and play area for the kids

if you're looking for something different, then this is the place to go! staff are very friendly and helpful with beoad knowledge of the plants, I found myself a rare Partot Plant there, plenty of parking too, with accessibility for disabled

We happened to pick up a leaflet from Bank House hotel .Best thing we did as we were here from Isle of Man.On our first visit we purchased several items plants,cheese ,biscuits and then returned two days later for more...glass mug and william morris items.What a find..bought all items we needed here and have returned them to Isle of Man.Only problem we could not fulfill everything we needed and company who manufactured william morris items would not send to Isle of Man....which means we have incomplete set.All staff were extremely helpful.Thanks Hop Pocket.Rod and Gaynor

Lovely garden centre shops and cafe. Well worth a visit.

Lovely traditional will made goods, traditional sweets, textiles and a reasonably priced cafe.
Other shops here include a traditional butchers amongst other things.
I'm quite hard to please but this is delightful.
