B&Q Pontypridd

A fairly large B&Q shop selling a wide variety of items, including an outdoor garden centre.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The shop offers a free 'click and collect' service with in-stock items usually available to collect within an hour.

They have recently removed most of the tills here in favour of self-service tills. There are a couple of staff members nearby to offer assistance if required.

The shop shares a large car park with the other shops in the retail park. There are around 10 disabled spaces located immediately opposite the shop entrance with a few other spaces dotted around the car park.

Shopped at this store yesterday. Found staff very helpful and friendly.
The young man at the paint desk was so amazing nothing was to much trouble for him.

Called into Ponty store today for a few tins of paint, not knowing or sure on what colours to choose. The gentleman on the Valspar mixing counter was the best! He was extremely helpful, friendly with great customer service... I never write reviews but this guy deserves a shout out! Hopefully he sees this! Thank you again! :) x

Great store friendly and helpful staff. Has everything you'd expect and more. A good one stop shop for DIY and trade uses.

They have a loyalty scheme which I don't know much more about than it exists.

Good disabled access with wide zebra crossing out front to a lot of disabled parking spots. Child and family spaces to the side of the store and not such a great location.

Close to town for those walking (although does have one busy road without crossing or lights) and as Sainsbury's is close also quite accessible via public transport.

Staff were very helpful! I needed helo as was going around the paints for about 3 minutes, and they come up to me asking if I was looking for anything helped massively and while grabbing my paints the staff went and grabbed me a B AND Q card and I had £5 off my first purchase of my order with that xard. Absolutely amazing

Have always been able to find what I need at this store. Never had any issues. There is a toilet at the back of the store, which is good because I shop with my kids and they always seem to need to go. staff are always helpful.

Excellent location, friendly staff

Good experience but as usual people standing in your way or leaving trolleys in your way. No carpet to carpet door bars which is silly. They had carpet to laminate. Good selection of items and some items are reasonably priced.

Great selection of products and fast service.

The usual B&Q but local to ourselves. Gets 5 stars due to the frankly amazing staff who are always polite helpful and cheery.

Only downside is the seasonal system so quite often limited stock in store for items they don't believe you should buy right now.

Open early which is great. Member of staff ( male) came out to greet us and offer a trolley which was a very nice touch. He also knew the answers to our questions so we knew where to go. Lady on check out very pleasant. Started our day of well with fantastic service that early on a Saturday morning.

Went to B&Q to look at buying kitchen units and not really knowing what we wanted. Was then asked by assistant Tim and helped us no end. Very knowledgeable about kitchen design and then done a 3d set up on a computer and showed us how everything would look in our kitchen. Very pleased with Tim and put our ideas into the plan.

Fantastic service ordering and receiving a kitchen project - from planning, ordering, alterations post receiving and availability of support on email/phone and in person the whole process could not have been more supportive - special mention for Angharad who has been on point with customer service and help in navigating the whole process - five star employee

Janine is an absolute credit to this store. Fabulous friendly service. Never normally impressed by service at this store but she was amazing.

Really helpful staff at this store. Grace particularly today was really good but every time I come here I get a good service.

The flowers and vegetable varieties in the garden section are really well stocked even under COVID pressures.

Good variety of items and location is very convenient for customers to reach out.

Had the best customer service there today from a gentleman called Dirk. He went out of his way to make sure I got the table and chairs I really wanted as they had come up as out of stock on the computer. He was so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Thank you!

Standard B & Q superstore in a large car park

After my experience on Sunday after my partner fell unwell in store 1st class service from the team did not get everyone's name in the panic except Sally,Tom although others where around.. Wife is now much better and hope our next visit to the store will be hassle free

This outlet is always stacked full of everything you need for DIY with very helpful staff.
