Great fish and chips. Unfortunately the fish was frozen, however fried to an order and tasted delicious. The price is reasonable and you get a great deal at a really low cost. 100% recommend! Ps. The large portion is really large 😉

I was cold and hungry waiting for a train so popped in for dinner and was served by two lovely, friendly and kind women who made everyone feel at home. Delicious hot curry sauce - thank you!

Always stop here when I’m out riding my motorbike in and around Shropshire. Food always tastes lovely, fish with lovely crunchy batter and freshly cooked. The mini fish box is ideal for £4.50 chips, mini fish and choice of beans, peas or curry sauce. More than enough to keep you going all day.

Great place to stop on your way into wales, food really good and decent prices.

Called in here on the way home from taking my cat to the vet......Best fish 'n' chips we've had in a long time! Freshly cooked, beautiful piece of cod, nice light crispy batter, great chips. Served by a very nice Lady. We will most definitely be back!

we've had for years. Fabulous. I’ve previously had fish from here as well, and that was delicious too.

Dropped in at 8:50 pm. They shut at 9:00 pm. Had a great chat with the Owner. He used to run the Chippy in Severn Square, Newtown.

Chatted and had a trip down memory lane.

Outstanding fish and chips. Haddock really fresh; crispy batter. Ultra lovely and efficient staff. So nice: exceeded expectations. Owner even came out to chat and ask us if we needed any thing else. Thank you!

I called in on the way home from a festival after dropping a friend off in Shrewsbury. I really fancied fish and chips and I have to say that they were absolutely delicious. The lady who served me was lovely and so pleasant but the main thing is that the fish was cooked to perfection, along with tasty mushy peas.
The next time I head North I'm going via the A49 and call in for definite!

Had cod regular chips and savaloy, twice. Better than other chippy in my opinion. Although if you expect a tonne of chips, as filler, then maybe the other option would be better.
Absolutely perfect for us. Quality freshly fried fish, and best sav I've had for a very long time.
Highly recommended.
