We couldn’t have wished for a better stay at Holly Lodge! We stayed in the Shepherds Hut, and it was in the most beautiful quiet setting. The hut was so well set up, with everything you need and was immaculately clean. The bed was the comfiest I had slept in for a long time. The hosts were so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back if we ever come near the coast. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to visit the area. Thank you Holly Lodge!

Absolutely beautiful in every way. Wonderful, peaceful country village location, exceptional décor (where every possible thought has gone into the design and practicality aspects in equal measure) and last but definitely not least, the service at breakfast from the lovely Rose and her team - impeccable. Breakfasts were fabulous, with a lovely range of quality produce to choose from, enjoyed in the conservatory overlooking the pristine garden.

What a beautiful little gem tucked away in the small village of Thursford, Norfolk. We stayed in a 'Colonial Cottage', which was exquisite. My wife is a celiac, and they catered for her beyond our expectations. Natalie's demeanour was second to none. Polite and professional with a sprinkle of friendliness. A 15-minute drive to Wells-next to the Sea and 25 minutes to Cromer. Highly recommend the 'Holly Lodge Boutique' for that quaint little getaway. We shall return. 😌

Just returned from an excellent 2 night stay at Holly Lodge. Our room ‘The Holly’ was beautiful and luxurious with walk in shower and roll top bath. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy. Breakfast was freshly cooked and served in the lovely conservatory. I really can’t fault this place and will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely place to stay. We had a wedding at the collection across the road and booked the entire lodge out for the wedding party. The shepherds hut was a lovely place for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready and dressed in.

We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. The staff were excellent and very friendly. They even gave us some complimentary prosecco to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was a nice touch.
Only negative comment would be that the room was too warm and difficult to reduce the temperature. Highly recommended.

Beautiful throughout. Lovely bedroom and well appointed bathroom .We were in Mistletoe. Plenty of choice and plenty to eat at breakfast. Friendly staff, a real wow factor when you walked into the main hall and saw the kitchen, lounge and dining room/conservatory. Lovely views on to the garden.

My wife and I stayed at Holly Cottage during Christmas 2015. We were both studying in London at the time, and we had never been been to Norfolk. We wanted a quiet and cozy escape from London.

This definitely was it. The owner was very nice, and a very good cook. We loved having breakfast in the conservatory and listening to Classic FM. This was a very peaceful place set in a peaceful village. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Nothing bad about our stay.

If we ever come back to Norfolk, and I hope some day we do, we will stay at Holly Cottage!

We recently had our wedding in Thursford and were the inaugural guests at Holly Lodge following the refurbishment by the new owners, through whom we booked the B&B as a wedding package. The standard of the accommodation is impeccably high; there were no rough edges or cut corners. The staff were openly keen for feedback to improve the B&B for future guests and functions, which proved difficult given the attention to detail and high standards sought by the venue, and anything we did find was either insignificant or dealt with promptly; usually without us even knowing. After our stay the staff told us of how things were taken care of without us even noticing, which impressed us immensely because doing so really contributed to the awe-inspiring feeling of our stay; everyone there was very concerned with ensuring a perfect experience and couldn't have been friendlier. The food at breakfast was amazing; varied and delicious no matter what you chose, and the service was comfortable; making it feel very homely. Rarely have I found a service as professional as it is friendly, I would highly recommend a stay here.

Outstanding and beautifully appointed boutique b&b. Every little thing seems to have been predicted and provided. Clean and beautifully decorated, each room is an experience in its own right. Lovely garden/conservatory area and fabulously helpful staff. Can't recommend enough.

Great setup, great decor., Great staff, great room, great quality food cooked to perfection. It's well above par of your regular B&B and a nice easy walk to the Thursford show. In short - FANTASTIC!!!

Exquisite! Attention to detail is superb. Very helpful and friendly staff. Honesty bar was a welcome touch as we arrived quite late.
