Fantastic place to stay. I go on a lot of long weekends away but this was one of the most enjoyable ones I've had. The hosts are brilliant, we had a warm welcome and the barn was pristine. Fresh fruit was provided and a bottle of wine on arrival. Everything you could need is provided for your stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

What an amazing place. A piece of paradise in the Shropshire hills. The barn was well equipped, immaculately clean, and in such a great location to explore Shropshire, Herefordshire, Powys, and other places. Hosts could not be more welcoming, lots of little touches to make you feel looked after. Thoroughly recommend this place.

We stayed here for a long weekend as a couple.
The attention to detail from the owners is great, a lovely welcome and perfectly presented when you arrive.
Stocked with games, films, stereo and selected music CDs.
The walks nearby were lovely, through a variety of different landscapes that we totally weren't expecting to see, saw some deer along the way too.
Ludlow nearby is a haven if you're a food lover and again was nice to just wander around the market.
Would definitely recommend the barn if you get the chance.

A beautiful, secluded location and cabin came with all mod cons.

The hosts were very accommodating, providing fresh flowers on the table, apples from their garden and even drinks in the fridge. They were also very respectful - providing all the support we could want without being intrusive.

Seasoned logs were ready by the wood burner with plenty more in the log store. Electric storage heaters were also available, including a heated towel rail in bathroom.

I always bring basic items with me on holiday just in case. Didn't need to worry here though as every item one would expect to find in their own home was here to use. There were all the sundry items at hand too (e.g. bin bags, dishwasher tablets, etc.).

There was good phone reception and the TV had plenty of digital channels to watch. There were games and DVD's too.

The whole place was very clean . All info about the cabin and surrounding attractions were at hand if needed.

We loved this place, would stay again and would certainly recommend it to others.

Hmm, much too comfortable and cosy. Within easy reach of The Barn is The Shropshire Hills - including The Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge - and a host of interesting villages to explore - but the temptation is to stroll up the hill to the castle and the (grade I listed) St Bartholomew's church, take in the view and stroll back to The Barn for refreshments - to be taken either on the patio or in front of the wood burning stove...and we succumbed to this temptation more than once during our two visits. On our local walks we saw a variety of birdlife, deer, squirrels and even a grass snake. In the evenings we drifted away to the sound of a distant owl... sleeping soundly in our comfortable beds.

Well equipped for our family of three, The Barn exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, location and the helpfulness of the owners. Recommended.

We had a fabulous time at this lovely barn. It is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and is decorated to a very high standard with every need catered for. If you enjoy sky t.v amd wi-fi its not the place for you. If you enjoy friendly hosts, peace and tranquilityand attention to detail the barn is the place. We will certainly be going back.
