Helpful and with good stock though they didn't have what I needed, but they were able to point me to their sister shop Mitchell who did have. Just revisited some months later and they're still super helpful. They were so kind friendly and understanding while we were trying to fit a new helmet on my autistic son.

I must have been in other shops where the staff have been as friendly and helpful, but I'm going to have to work to remember any.

We were there with a weird problem trying to get a new saddle, for bike we hadn't even bought there that had a spectacularly unusual and tricky twin-pole mounting system.

They spent a good couple of hours helping my daughter and fitting saddles. Which given the mounting was hard work and at times had four of us (including another customer) trying to lever one of them into place.

She didn't find one she liked, and yet they never once slipped from the best of humour.

They also refused to take any payment for their efforts.

Just amazing service, and I look forward to being able to take them some proper business in future.

5*. Had a frustrating front brake issue that I couldn't resolve. I dropped it in to Swindon Cycles when their current lead time was circa 6-days. Had a text the following day to say the bike was ready to collect as they had a spare moment to look at it.

Have been popping in for years occasionally for odds and sods. Bought my last bike from there about 9 years ago, had a great choice and staff were very helpful. I had to replace that bike this week and found the bike I wanted on their website. I was offered a fantastic price on the year old version but being a tart I wanted a specific 2024 frame colour. They had a bike in the shop in my size but a higher spec to confirm my size, and the bike I wanted in their wearhouse. I was able to customise my new bike with wheels and some small parts I already had at no labour charge, the bike was pdi'ed and ready for me the following day. Very quick friendly service.

Brilliant technical support and service. Helpful and friendly, always, and recently sorted out an urgent problem with my tyres just before a 100km sportive. Bike was serviced really well and ran like clockwork. Highly recommend for bikes, parts and service.

Just bought a BMC road bike from Swindon Cycles, I got great advice from Stephen about best bike spec suited to me and also careful to say what I did not need; after I'd chosen it, the bike was prepared ready for me to pick up the next morning. Gem of an independent bike shop, really friendly, helpful staff, clearly passionate about cycling and wanting people to enjoy it. Prices were very good too, I'd highly recommend Swindon Cycles

First class service received from Swindon cycles today. My husband and I went to the store and we were greeted at the door by Marc and politely asked to use hand gel.

I explained to Mark that I have a long-term back problem and recently advised by an osteopath to take up gentle bicycle exercise to improve my muscle tone to help support my back.

Marc enthusiastically went through all the options with great knowledge and did not try to oversell me a bike which would be above my basic needs. He explained the different frames and telling me the steel frame would be heavier so a bit harder to ride, so I opted for a different cycle to the one I looked at which was similar and available in the other branch which they brought over for me today to make sure I was totally happy with.

Marc changed the seat to a gel seat and gave me discount as they would resell the original seat. My husband bought a bicycle too Marc pulled out the first bike which would suit my husband perfectly and he purchased it right there and then. Again, no pushy over selling, just listening to what we needed and finding something to suit our needs as we only want to use it to go around and our area for 15 to 20 minutes a day to get a bit of gentle exercise as we are in our 60s.

We bought two bikes, helmets, a pump and a lock so Marc gave us a generous discount too. Therefore, could not say anything negative all. The staff were friendly, including the people at their sister shop too.

Just been out on my new bike and absolutely love it, having not had one for 45 years.

Not even in a bike shop but in general! - the best customer service I've had in a very long time. Mr Marc who helped me has an incredible knowledge about bikes and gear, could answer every single question with a lot of detail and direct me towards my goal. Also, what is great - he didn't try to sell me a bike but tried to help me choose the best one for me. 10/10.

Went in for a bike and helmet for my youngest. It was very busy so was a bit of a wait but staff were working flat out so it was acceptable. The help and advice were great and helmet and bike purchased were well suited. They carried the bike to the car for me as I had my hands full with helmet plus 2 young kids. I have been back since and have remained impressed by the helpfulness and can do attitude.

Recently bought a Giant Contend Road Bike here. The staff provided fantastic service and expertise. No pressure to spend more money as might be the case in many bike shops; instead, there was a genuine sense that they want you to have the right bike for you. Impressive place and well worth the five stars 👍

Nothing to grumble about at all , brought my kids bikes from here and entrusted them to split and make a chain shorter for my kids electric quad bike . 48v and 1300w getting used daily . Between the chain and workmanship we have a winner . Better than from when it left the showroom in China .

What a great service from Graeme and the team. Bought a bike a few years back that subsequently had issues as the frame cracked. Fortunately it was covered under warranty but as it happened in the midst of Covid and then Brexit to follow had a nightmare getting a replacement from Giant. The team chased them down and despite a lack of stock anywhere in the country managed to sort a replacement that fitted and as a bonus for the 8 month wait ended up being a bit of an upgrade! Thanks guys... great service & I'd definitely recommend!

Brilliant service from Stephen and his team when buying a new Giant Tcr. I live over 2 hours away but it was definitely worth the drive. Would have no hesitation using Swindon Cycles again.

I have used Swindon Cycles for many years now since they brought my old mountain bike to life. Since then they have supplied and serviced everything from a my children’s first bikes all the way through to cutting edge road bikes. Always able to give sound advice with top notch sales and a massive capability in bike servicing whatever you ride. If you’re thinking of anything with two wheels and a set of pedals and you appreciate quality product and service, then I would definitely recommend checking these guys out first.

Great bike shop. Visiting from Hertfordshire and was recommended to come here by my Dad who is local. Excellent customer service, fabulous range of stock and staff who were actually cyclists and knew their stuff. Highly recommend.

Recently went into the bike shop and had some minor adjustments done. Couldn't of asked for better service. Especially from the guys inthe workshop. Ian in particular, he is very knowledgeable and experienced at what he does. He went above and beyond to help us out. His passion about the sport is inspiring 5* ( Would Highly recommend)

Came in looking for a new wheel for an oldish bike. Bare in mind there’s a pandemic going on they where extremely helpful in locating a new wheel and even swapped over my cassette and disc break there and then all for a great price! There may have been ques due to allowing a few customers at a time to help with social distancing but was well worth the wait! Very respectable company and staff!
