We had a wonderful stay at the Nest over Easter weekend. Our kids absolutely loved the hideaway bunk bed and canoeing on the lake. The location was perfect for us to explore the local area. The beds were extremely comfy and warm despite it being very, very cold. The Nest had some lovely little touches for the kids which entertained them a bit whilst we got to put our feet up and relax. The accommodation had everything we needed to cook, bbq etc. The bath was heavenly looking out over the lake.

We had a magical holiday at The Nest. Emma was very helpful in the lead up to our stay and everything was perfect on arrival, the cabins are beautifully set up with thoughtful touches. We hired all three so had the site and lake all to ourselves, and we loved using the camp fire and pizza oven. There was lots to do in the local area too. We loved the Nest and we'll definitely be back!

This place is beautiful!! Went for the weekend for a friends birthday and couldnt have asked for a nicer place to stay. The view from the tent was stunning, it was peaceful as only 3 tents on site so now crowds of people. The lake is lovely and clear with boats you can hop into anytime you like. Will definatly be back. Make sure you visit the Millstone pub. The food and sevice was fantastic.

We stayed at the Nest for 4 nights for my 5 year old daughters birthday weekend. Couldn’t have been more perfect for little ones - cold lake dips and kayaking, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, wood fired cooking for every meal. We also ventured out to Burghley (10 min drive) which has a great adventure playground and beautiful gardens. Couldn’t recommend highly enough for a low-tech / back to basics (but with hot water running) fun family getaway, we will def be back

Just back from 4 nights glamping in the peaceful setting of the nest (nr. Stamford). Well equipped, comfortable Safari tents in peaceful surroundings equipment with plenty of blankets and hot water bottles to deal with the April overnight chill. Very relaxing spot to unplug and spend time with the family, sheep, birds and wide open skies. Vegan lasagne the hosts prepared for the first night was great too! Brilliant holiday!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in April for our minimoon. The whole team went above and beyond and were so lovely! They even left us a little gift and wedding card- so thoughtful. The Nest was absolutely stunning, from all the beautiful details in the tent, to the gorgeous views of the lake. We loved the fact you could roll up the window for a more open feel, especially in the hot weather. We loved waking up and starting the stove which gave the whole tent in the cold mornings a really cozy feel. We enjoyed walks around the site as well as in the town of Stamford nearby. We would both highly recommend this place to anyone who wanted a quiet and luxurious time away in nature. The canoes were so much fun and that bath- oh my goodness! It was all an absolute dream! Thank you so much!!

Probably one of the best weekends of my life! Took my sister and 17 of her closest friends and family here for her Hen weekend and it didn’t disappoint.
Perfect set up with hot tub, lake and gorgeous country walks. The lodges were fully equipped with everything you could need and the beds were SO comfortable.
Emma was the dream to liaise with from the very start - and she cooked vegetable bolognaise for our arrival and it hit the spot!
We had the table lay service for dinner on the Saturday and it was dreamy! 10/10 all round.
Will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Nest for a week with 2 young children and grandparents. The accommodation was fantastic and everything had been thought through including hot water bottles for the guests. The location was just amazing, on a secluded lake with beautiful views at sunset. There were even 2 kayaks for use to use by the lake, which we all thoroughly enjoyed! The extras that can be booked such as homemade meals (which we ordered for our arrival day), hot tub, and film & firepit night truly made the holiday. During our stay, we did have a little glitch with the hot water, however Emma & Archie swiftly arranged for this to be resolved with good communication. Lots to explore in the surrounding areas.

We had a wonderful bank holiday weekend away and stayed in Pinkfoot. It was just perfect with incredible views across the lake. It was lovely to have the option to use the boats and life jackets were provided. My 7 and 5 year old boys absolutely loved going out on the boat with my husband. People staying in another tent swam in the lake daily so I am going to try and brave that next time!.... If you want the opportunity to switch off for a few days and get off the treadmill of life for a bit (don't we all?!) then book to stay in one of these lovely safari tents. We will definitely be going back !!

Me and my Partner spent a week at the Nest in September 2020 for her birthday and also just to get away. We had both worked full time through the pandemic and needed a well earned break. We can honestly say The Nest could not have been more perfect.

The safari tents are truly unbelievable. The level of luxury in a tent was not what we were expecting all. After the stress of the last year, the isolation and privacy you get there was great.

The kitchen facilities were ideal and the bathroom with free standing bath is a great touch. Being able to open the front of the tent and have a line in bed or a bath with a drink whilst overlooking the lake is truly special and I cant wait to do both again.

We will definitely be coming back this year or next. Thank you so much.

Absolutely excellent! The most luxurious 'camping' you will ever do. Huts are nicely separated from each other so you have complete privacy. Beds are super comfortable and linen is gorgeous. Every little detail has been thought of, including hot water bottles in case it gets chilly at night. So convenient for visiting the impressive Burghley House and surrounding area. Will definitely look to stay here again and take friends and family.

Where do I begin really?! What a fabulous weekend we had at the Nest. A large group of us stayed in Pinkfoot and Cuckoo from the Friday- Monday in May as part of my friends Hen do! Organising a hen weekend is a lot of work but Emma really helped and we were all blown away by how beautiful and thoughtfully considered the lodges are.
Not only are the views to die for, but the utilities are next level and the attention to detail really made all the difference.
We are so grateful to have found this wonderful place and all the memories made here that sunny weekend!
Would highly recommend Laura (the mobile beauty therapist) who came to the lodges and gave the most amazing facials and massage with Neals yard products. It really completed a very wonderful, wholesome weekend!
I honestly cannot recommend the Nest enough! Emma has done the most fantastic job and I will certainly be coming back again and again!

Thanks again Emma for such a beautiful place to stay :)

We have just had the most perfect Easter Weekend at the Nest. The tent was luxuriously comfortable and cosy (the wood burner kept going all night and an abundance of hot water bottles were provided!). Our lovely hosts Emma & Archie and had left thoughtful treats on arrival, including for the dogs. The setting was beautiful and tranquil. We were so pleased we indulged in having the hot tub, and the film & firepit evening under the stars was such a treat. The private Lake with crystal clear water was incredible - with canoes provided, and great for wild swimming (followed by a warming plunge in the hot tub). We made pizzas which we cooked in the wood burner, and BBQ'd breakfast outside. We ventured out amongst the pretty local villages (heartily recommend a Sunday Roast & cocktails at The Millstone at Barnack) but the kids were always desperate to get back to the Nest for more lakeside adventures. We very much hope to return soon. Fabulous in every respect.

Absolutely amazing! Loved it so much that I booked to come again next year on the journey home.
We stayed with our two young boys and we had the best time. It's such a beautiful, tranquil environment, instantly relaxing. I loved swimming in the lake, the boys loved kayaking with me, we went on lots of runs and walks and explored the lcoal area. I also had the most beautiful massage and facial arranged at the lodge

The Nest is a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing lodge on a private wild swimming lake not far from Stamford. We had an incredible stay there - Emma and her husband were so helpful and accommodating. The lodge has so many little personal touches from hot water bottles in the beds to homemade breakfast supplies which made the whole experience feel really special and luxurious. The space is very liveable with a great indoor/ outdoor feel, and a wonderful huge bathtub that looks over the lake while the sun sets. There is also a kitted out kitchen with all the essentials for cooking or the hosts can prepare pre-made meals which is a lovely treat. The hosts also gave some suggestions of local pubs and restaurants in the welcome booklet which we booked and were great. There are lots of nearby areas to discover.

I would highly recommend the Nest to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. We will definitely be planning a second trip soon! You are also able to book all 3 lodges if there is a larger group and have the whole place to yourselves. The lodges are however spread out enough for each to feel very private and secluded.

The Nest is much more than a glamping experience, it feels like a little cosy home and we would recommend to anyone! Thanks for an amazing trip!

We spent a week of pure relaxation at The Nest and it was just what we needed to escape London. The details are really thought about, from The White Company bathing products, super soft bedding, plenty of wood to light the stove; it was so homey. We spent our days swimming in the lake and the evenings warming up in the sensational huge egg shaped bath, lounging by the fire, and cooking hearty warming stews on the stove. Such a treat to be able to roll up the wall of your house! Utter bliss!

We had an awesome stay last week at The Nest Glamping. What a wonderful set up. Every aspect was well thought out, from the incredibly comfortable beds, lovely bed linen and other aspects. We had so much fun on the kayaks on the lake and everyone enjoyed the beautiful natural setting. Thanks so much; you were awesome hosts.

From the moment we booked to the moment we left, this place was simply PERFECT. Emma and Archie are amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome. The Nest is an incredible location - right by a secluded lake (which is surprisingly warm!) and the lodges are insanely comfy, and have everything you could possibly need. I loved it so much, I will definitely book again!

Absolutely stunning location, the setup is amazing and to say 'glamping' is an understatement, it's better than a lot of Airbnb houses! Everything you need is all in your lodge, you don't need to bring anything. The lake is great, our 2 big dogs and 2 toddlers loved it. What's really nice is the lake is fully fenced off, so no dogs running off from your lodge into the lake. We will definitely be returning!

I'm an experienced glamper and The Nest is the best site i've been to so far! The location is idyllic overlooking the lakes and surrounding fields, plenty of space for the kids to run around and very private to the other cabin. The cabin was pretty amazing with the gorgeous bath and it was well equipped for all our needs. It was most definitely a luxurious stay and we are going back next year without a doubt!
