They are brilliant, really helpful on the phone and a huge range of products. After trying several types of bedding straw (I don't like the deep fill method so needed something cheap, absorbent and easy to muck out weekly) from other companies for my chicken coop floor they found me the perfect solution at a very reasonable price. They deliver too which is a godsend for anyone who hasn't room in their car for bulky packs of straw!

Staff are so pleasant and very helpful as soon as you walk in the door.

This place is my go-to for all my animal needs.

Just for context, I have a few chickens, 2 cats, and like to encourage natural wild life in my garden (such as wild birds and hedgehogs).

So GJL is perfect, as I can get large quantities of food for chickens and cats, as well as natural bird food and hedgehog food.

They also stock food/items for equine, dogs, and smaller animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. This also includes toys, treats, and bedding/sanitation items.

I always go here anytime I need to get more items for my animals, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for these items too.

What a little jewel this business is, when I pass by I always pick up some things for my bunnies and cats. Didn't know it existed until I heard the brilliant adverts on greatest hits radio, I mean, who can forget the legendary "But I'm a pedigree" advert...brilliant!

Everyone at GJL is so friendly and helpful. If you collect for yourself they will load your car for you, and if you have things delivered they will put everything where you want it, and do it with a smile and a friendly chat. Their goods are the best value and they have a really wide range of all sorts of animal feeds etc and bedding from the smallest pet to larger animals. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Have always found GJL helpful, when ever I have asked for advice to do with dog food or dog beds ,if the one I wanted wasn't in stock, they would order it. 👍👍.

We use GJL for all our animal feeds - dogs, horses, cats, chickens! We buy in store and order by phone for delivery - staff are ALWAYS super helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.
