Another beautiful area to explore for your walks.
We quite enjoyed our time there. The sun was shining, the flowers were blossoming, the birds were singing, the clouds were awesome too, which definitely has changed our mood for better! ❤

Excellent place for a quiet walk, with the dog, with the kids etc. Massive variety of woodland and landscape to explore.

A really stunning 1500-acre ancient forest, excellent for dog-walking. Home to a diverse range of wildlife, including fallow deer. There numerous routes through the forest with a sculpture trail. Although the main paths are wide and clear, most trails aren't waymarked. Signs are sparse and we had to use the 'find my car' function to steer us in the right direction.

It's worth noting there are no facilities on site or in the free car park. The nearest public toilets are at Taylors Hill, an 8 minute drive away.

Great place for some peace and quiet and a good dog walk. Can get busy at weekends but it's so big it's easy not to bump into anyone. Recommend that you go off the beaten track

Lovely woods for a walk. Can get busy at weekend better in the week. Lots of paths, and we'll kept but still wild.

Wonderful place to explore with or without dogs. The bluebells in spring are delightful.

This is a huge and varied stretch of woodland with a large number of formal and informal trails. There's little in the way of signposting though so a phone (or some breadcrumbs) is essential if you don't want to become hopelessly lost. You might bump into some other visitors eventually but it could take a while as Kings Wood covers a lot of ground.

One of the bestest woods in the Southeast in my (probably biased) view. The good thing is, if you drag yourself out of bed very early doors, walk very quietly, don't bring a dog-a-log and also probably tranquillise / gag your children*, you may be lucky enough to spot one of amazing herds of Deer who grace their stunning presence upon this slice of natural wonderment. (*Only joking PC brigade...)

Every day, I thank the Lord for being able to walk in these woods in the steps of my ancestors where they would have walked 200 years ago.

Beautiful walks blighted by discarded dog poo bags. Once again my friend and I filled a carrier bag with poo bags and other rubbish..

Great for dog walks but the paths can get a little muddy. All good experiences here.
