It may be known to the outside of the establishment as a newsstand, but it is much more. I consider this a very well stocked version of an American convenience store - and homier than most I've been to back in the states.

The place has just about everything you would need and care to find without the hassle of going to a full grocery store or ever supercenter. I have been there to pick up scissors, bath wipes, cookies, and beer, and that just scratches the surface.

Service is functional if not overly friendly, but when I've spoken to them they have been accommodating with my questions. Prices are what you would expect for the "convenience of shopping there, and I can't be the location - it is definitely closer than schlepping all the way to the grocery store in town. Looks like the locals are giving it the love it deserves, I hope they keep it up - it's well-deserved in my opinion...

Very friendly and helpful staff. If you use something regularly and they don't have it they will make sure they do for next visit.

As a visitor to Lakenheath, visited this shop when l found the Co-op too crowded. Covid regulation are in place and a mask must be worn by customers entering the shop. As with all hardworking independent shops, this was no exception. Well stocked with all those essential items forgotten last minute and at reasonable pricing Opens early, with a good variety of newspapers. Found the lady running the shop very helpful, spotted by bargain chocolate, sought tow bars Well worth a visit
