bp pulse Charging Station

Small issue with the charger but called up the number on the charger which was answered speedily and the helpful lady on the other end of the phone rebooted the charger and walked me through everything to check it was working so I could fully charge my EV for my journey.

Excellent place to charge.

Petrol station with pretty well stocked mini supermarket. Car Wash, vacuum and fragrance facility. Good facility. My vehicle not an EV so the categories below aren't applicable.

Charging point worked but hard to read in sun and to link up in app.

Contactless didn't work, even with the app already and an account set up it was a bit of a faff. The screens are directly in sun in afternoon so hard to read.

Sadly not as fast as advertised 150kW. Only 38...46kW

Unfortunately it's not on the polar instant app so you'll have to pay 40p per kWh god knows why it's more expensive to pay with your card directly also be aware they take £30 from your card for a couple of days before they give you that back and just charge you the correct amount talk about making things complicated. Hopefully they'll get over themselves and stop charging us double the price to use our debit cards outrageous really.

Wasted a considerable amount of time having to load the BP Pulse App, answering tedious and irrelevant questions as well as getting verified via an email code rather than text, so having to open different Apps rather than just see it pop up. Then to discover you have to make a prepayment rather than quick contactless. As a consequence of that this meant downloading another, Barclaycard App, for even more verification, and a repeated wasted of time, quite frankly after wasting 20 minutes I then gave up here and went elsewhere.

Really fiddly. Need to download app and prepay on it. Can't to PAYG. Plus, it only charged at 35kWh. Won't be back
