Stop off whilst in the area following a day out. We were warmly greeted, offered a table and sat down.. Good drinks selection and the table service was perfect. Served by an amazing young woman who was super friendly and very helpful (she bore a striking resemblance to Jacqueline Jossa may I add 😁) Food was delightful really good menu and the food was very good.
Atmosphere here is super relaxed and friendly and despite it being populated with locals we did not feel unwelcome quite the opposite.
If you are passing by worth a visit.you will not be disappointed.

This is more like it!!! Rural pubs of the UK please take note, this is how you design a menu.

The place itself is lovely, the hostess was charming, informative, knew the wine she was selling, perfect. The food is great as well, I had a starter followed by 3 tapas dishes and they were all superb. Cooked perfectly, super tasty and great portion size.

Will definitely call again if I'm in the area as there is so much on that menu I wanted to try.

First time at this pub and it was for a surprise birthday 🎂
What a really charming, authentic country pub.
The buffet food was delicious 😋 fresh and presented well.
The staff couldn't help enough, nothing was to much for them, very friendly, polite and professional.
Will be going back to try it out again !
Very happy to recommend 👌 😀

We’ve been in a few times for drinks and finally went for food. Ordered the fillet steak on the specials menu, it was incredible. Staff are lovely, food is great and the background music finishes off the great setting. Looking forward to coming back soon!

First of all 5 stars is not enough for the food and service

they also allow dogs in which is great to see nowadays

we were enjoying the food so much we didn't even take pics till half way through

they do a wide range of vegan and vegetarian food Inc deserts, which they had a dedicated menu for, as well as a gluten free menu

they dont do accommodation here, but they did allow us to stay in our camper overnight here in their car park at no extra cost other than food and drinks in the pub

they also do a take away menu

thank you guys, you were great, with an excellent chef and service to match

Delightful! Set in the countryside, this pub has a fantastic location, great food and a fabulous team of staff. The food was superb and very good portion sizes. We had starters, mains and desserts. All fabulous. Compliments to the chef! We had a wonderful time at The Masons Arms for a late Sunday lunch in the afternoon sun! Everything was perfect. Will definitely return.

Stopped off for lunch here en-route back from the nearby National Trust Brockhampton Estate. I’d read the reviews in advance as I always do. We had the soup of the day being mushroom which was great and also the lamb Koftas with fries and a fantastic salad. I must point out that the young lady serving was perhaps the best we’ve ever been served anywhere. Very pleasant and attentive, she is a definite credit to this pub. My wife and I shared the meals and everything was first class. Hats off to an obviously talented chef ! You should not be disappointed if you choose to call in here.

This place is fantastic. We visited on a busy Thursday evening which did slow service somewhat but not to the detriment of the experience. The food was great (we both had pizzas) and would thoroughly recommend. The decor is awesome as a proper country pub. I especially liked the chalk board drinks lists on the beams to help take out the panic choice when you get to the bar.

Very personable staff, nice environment inside and outside, attached carpark, outstanding views of the countryside and easy to find.

The Masons Arms is just half a mile from St Peter's C of E, which was mentioned in the Domesday book.

We went for a meal on the eve of our sons wedding, he recommended it based on a previous visit.
Service was fantastic very attentive waiter who helped with our food choice.
We wanted a good steak and I can say the sirloin did not disappoint, another choice was the cod & chips which was delicious not to mention the Hoi Sin sticky beef 😋
The service was complete when arranging our taxi… Laura the owner offered to take us to our hotel that is service above & beyond
Thank-you for a memorable evening
