San Ging Keswick

San Ging was perfect for an extended stay in January '24. The quality of the accommodation and facilities is exceptional. Helen has thought of everything: amazingly well kitted out kitchen; superb bedrooms and bedding; a very useful utility room. The layout of the house is perfect for groups and there are breath taking views from the lounge and the kitchen. I cant wait to go back!

Spotlessly clean with an excellent standard of furnishings. It’s so nice to sleep in a good comfortable bed. Lovely airy seating areas, plenty of space for all of us. Kitchen is so well equipped and there is a fantastic utility. Location ideal, lovely and quiet with splendid views and too many activities to complete in a single visit. We have been coming here for a few years and it never fails to please. Thank you so much.

We stayed at San Ging for a week's family holiday. The house is exceptional with the best equipped kitchen I have seen for a rental house.
The finish and cleanliness of the house is very good and the views are extraordinary.

This was the third time we had stayed at San Ging, and it was as lovely as ever. The house is situated perfectly on the hillside, close enough to walk into keswick and with (our favourite part) the most gorgeous views. Loved staying here. Location is very good and its easy to get to different lakes. Lake view from the lounge and kitchen is beautiful. Love the layout of the house; Kitchen is well equipped. Helen is an excellent host. Will visit again.

We've been staying at San Ging for about 10 years and have never got around to reviewing the place so we thought it was about time we did.
Keswick is a wonderful base for hill walking - we first came with friends who had  booked San Ging and we have come to love the place.
The accommodation is just stunning - the recent kitchen refurb really works and is a fantastic space to cook and eat in. The lounge and sun room are just wonderful - I never tire of the views from the lounge - particularly when snow is on the ground.
We always come to Keswick in the winter and a big plus is access to the Armathwaite Hall Spa: after some tough walking it's just great to go there, warm up and relax.
Even though we have been coming for many years it is still a very special place to stay and we can't recommend it highly enough.

San Ging is a great place to stay if you're visiting Keswick. My first stay here was for a girls weekend away and we loved it so much that we booked it again for a break with family.

The rooms of the house sit on different levels with the main living area being on the top floor with that amazing view. Most of the rooms have a lot of natural light and the house has been decorated to highlight this.

The house is well equipped and in addition to lounging around on the comfy sofas and beanbags, we also really enjoyed spending time in the big kitchen/dining space.

Guests at San Ging get access to the spa facilities at the nearby Armathwaite Hall hotel and it's really worth going - even if you don't book any spa treatments it's a great place to go for a swim.

I drew the short straw on both visits in that I had to sleep on the bunk beds! This is the smallest bedroom in the house, but I didn't mind too much because I got a good night's sleep and was comfortable.

Stayed several times at this beautiful house with family and girly get together, everything you could possibly need is provided for you, beautifully decorated and comfortable, can't wait to come back.

Busy place plenty of places to eat and drink

Lovely week away in the Lakes at this unique multi level accommodation. Situated on a steep hill so no garden to speak of, but lovely views over Keswick from the kitchen and front room!
