My friend and I booked a post-walk Sunday roast. Neither of us are local so took a bit of a punt at choosing where to go, however we were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we even made a furry friend in the pub dog Ollie! We both had the roast pork and I can honestly say, aside from my mums Christmas dinner, this was the best roast I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! We were very tempted to try a dessert as the offerings on the menu were very tempting, but we were both completely full! Would 100% recommend The Kilpeck Inn to anyone in the area!

A hidden gem with great food. The best Pub/British restaurant food in the area.
Very nice to see some house martins nesting above the entrance porch too! Welcome to the countryside!

I only ate and drank here.

The service was ridiculously good. Best I’ve had for a very long time. Excellent selection of drinks. Gorgeous premises that was perfectly presented. Food lived up to Michelin Guide expectations despite service having finished. Wonderful. Would give a perfect 10 if I could.

We had a lovely stay, rooms were clean and well equipped and the staff were friendly, service was great. Breakfast was lovely (no veggie options) My only very small quibble was we arrived a bit early hoping to have a drink before check in but the pub was closed until 5:30pm - completely understandable, but check in was from 5pm so we assumed the pub would be open 😊 would definitely stay again!

Came here for a Sunday roast after a walk and it was fantastic! Had the parfait and beef, finished off with the sticky toffee pudding. It was all delicious and left us happily stuffed! Everyone there was very friendly and I very much enjoyed the Butty Bach on tap.

We came here for the amazing food. And it was great. Heathy and scrumptious with a British touch. Of course, you can have your fish and chips, but you can also choose their cod and bean purée dish. They are very aware of allergies and cater to gluten free and lactose intolerant visitors. Their gluten free bread was nice. The atmosphere was vibrant. The pub was filled by locals eating around tables and drinking at the bar.

Great B&B. Great little boozer with top notch local beverages. The cider was superb. Great location to enjoy the history of St Mary and St David Church. Quiet and relaxing. Food was top notch and worth every penny. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was very clean and well presented. If your after a peaceful break with Great food and drink and some great history get your sens to the Kilpeck Inn. Well done guys. Oh and don't forget to have a look at the castle and pat ollie while enjoying a cider on his very comfy sofa. He's a very accommodating dog.

Had a new year's eve meal here with the wife and kids, absolutely amazing, honestly couldn't fault the food or service. Steak was to die for and the peppercorn sauce was just next level. Could not recommend enough. Olly the dog was lovely too (hope you enjoyed some steak) 🤫

Stayed for one night after visiting Oldfield Forge. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and the room was clean and spacious (we were in Minnow). Stayed for dinner which was fantastic and had excellent friendly and efficient service. Ollie the dog was a bonus! Breakfast was freshly cooked and good quality. Recommend!

Booked in for an overnight stay for a bit of peace and quiet and was not disappointed!
We wanted to have lunch but pub closed at 3 and we couldn't have room until 5. However, a swift phone call to the lovely Amy to explain the situation and the problem was solved 😁.
Good selection of spirits and draught. I recommend the local cider!
Had a lovely lunch of sausage and red onion marmalade sandwich for me and himself had the roast beef. Good size and reasonably priced.
Popped up to the room when pub closed for a shower and was more than pleased - good size, very clean, plenty of hangers, coffee/tea facilities and pretty much anything else you needed.
Evening meal was the soufflé followed by duck for me and he had pickled quail eggs and 10oz sirloin. I thought everything was well cooked and well presented. Tasted wonderful!
It was so peaceful and had good quality curtains so actually had a lie on! Had a really good night's sleep made better by the delicious breakfast! Only downside is the breakfast room is a bit...cozy. Really could have done with a bit of soft music in the background so the sound of people munching their cereal was not quite so loud (but then I do struggle being around noisy eaters so maybe more of a me problem).
All in all, very enjoyable, I would love to come back for another stay. Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great food made with local produce! Friendly and warm service & atmosphere!

Visiting Herefordshire with my wife and newborn; we were looking for a place to try good quality local produce prepared well. Wanted to avoid fine dining but was hoping for a nice dining experience.
We decided to try The Kilpeck Inn based on the menu, photos and reviews. It did not disappoint a bit. Our only regret is that we didn't book the room here (Staying somewhere else locally).

Next time we visit the area, it won't be a question where to stay & eat.

Thank you, Team!

We came for lunch as 4 adults, a baby and a dog. The pub is very dog friendly and straight away we were offered a high chair for the baby.
I’d pre warned the staff about dietary requirements and they seemed prepared. There’s lots of food options that are dairy and gluten free by design which is nice as no one feels like they’re missing out.

All the food was beautifully served and everything was satisfying. The price was maybe on the high end for lunch, costing about £30pp including drinks. That being said, the quality and presentation justify it.

The service was good; however, the staff were visibly rushed as the pub was fully booked with just 2 waiting staff. Despite this, service was good and the staff were very friendly!

Called in for lunch after visiting the church. Me, the wife and my older sister. Lovely location, clean, tidy appearance. Felt right as soon as we walked in. Cheerful welcome and shown to a table with nice view of the garden. Sandwiches, salad and chips. All fresh and tasty and plentiful. The staff were great, Willow especially. 10 out of 10 all round. Definitely go again.
