Visit the Crown Inn on a regular basis and cannot recommend enough. I visit friends in the area and always make a point of having at least one meal here. My friend has a beef allergy and the staff take extra care to ensure that she is accommodated. Lovely home cooked food and the most friend pleasant staff- food is reasonably priced and locals very friendly - worth a visit

We stayed here as wedding guests, and the staff went above and beyond for us. The rooms were clean, very comfortable beds, and a good breakfast. A lovely little b&b in the country!

Clean rooms, best bed on the whole offa’s Dyke Walk. Slept wonderfully, open window and not a sound to be heard. Excellent food, you can sit reading without anyone asking you if you want another drink. All in all just what you need after a long days walk. Would recommend it to all my friends. And last but not least, not expensive!

Was staying in the area locally with a few friends for a hiking trip, came across The Crown Inn with low expectations as it's in the middle of nowhere and I have to say... it was fantastic. A lovely, quaint local pub who were very welcoming to us and the meal was absolutley fantastic and very reasonable!

If im ever in the area again, i'd 100% stop in!

Just went for an evening's quizzing and enjoyed it immensely as usual. The hosts and staff are so pleasant and friendly and there is a really good atmosphere. Great chips, too! An excellent local pub. Wish we lived a bit nearer!

Great place with good food. It's not exactly on the Offa's Dyke Path (which we were walking), but there isn't anything exactly on the path at this stage. Just be prepared for the slog up the hill the next day. Totally would recommend or stay again.

Absolutely fantastic place - warm and welcoming for myself, boyfriend and dog - and the food! Wonderful gluten free meal and the best 'gammon steak tea' I've ever had (you know it's good when they give you so many trimmings the chips come in a separate bowl). 🤣 Stayed at Offas Dyke and would go back again tomorrow if we weren't leaving.

Fantastic valentines meal, 2023!
We ate a meal in the pub whilst staying locally and the food was incredible value for money. The steak and pie were cooked really well, tasted great and portions were huge.
Staff were helpful and friendly and the whole place had a great atmosphere.
Highly recommend 👌

We were a large group who had booked, the table was ready and when taking the order the staff maintained the need for family billing. All of which was coped with in a friendly and efficient manner. The food when it came was hot and well presented. It was one of the best Sunday roast dinners I have had when eating out. Although I didn't have a pudding they looked fantastic and were enjoyed by those who did. All in all a well run family pub were you are made to feel very welcome. Thank you to all.

We had such a nice experience in the Crown Inn. Such a lovely environment, lovely staff and locals! All ready and willing to give the dog some fuss!!
We had a meal there on our last light in Longtown and it was lovely, I wasn't feeling 100% and the lovely lady looking after us popped my soup into a takeaway pot for me so I could finish it later. If we do ever come back this way we will 100% be popping back in.

Delicious food. We stayed nearby at the Offas Dyke Retreat and decided to try the local pub. Only a 7 minute walk. We brought out dog with us. Lovely wedding and enjoyed a pint outside in the garden. I had the lamb pie and my wife has fish and chips.
