Absolutely beautiful carvery! The staff are attentive and made sure we had a comfortable seating area in the bar with our three dogs. All veg and meat were done to perfection with a good selection of drinks and deserts. Definitely worth a visit

Came here for carvery Sunday lunch the cauliflower cheese was best ever had, and Sunday dinner was lovely it was 🦃 turkey, and 🍖 beef. It had carrots, broccoli, cabbage, stuffing roast potatoes, and mash, and carrot l, and sweed which was nice which we love. The beer garden see through the patio looks nice it's lovely warm day. From all that rain had yesterday this month be glad see the back of it. Warm but windy so still not short weather. Went on here to view the rooms sat in the bar because had the dog no dogs in the lounge the lounge looked nice, and another bar area in other room had to go through two doors to get in back room of the lounge to the carvery.

Very welcoming Country pub with Darts and Pool room and large rural beer garden overlooking the River Ithon , Good selection of Ales and Guinness. Very friendly Staff and locals.
We arrived at 1pm for food there is a limited menu in the day time with the main restaurant being closed mid day we ate in the lounge area. The smaller menu didn't disappoint as the food was excellent.
Jacket potato's, Plaice and chips and children's menu all hot with excellent service
Highly recommended if your passing or staying in the area.

Lovely friendly proper Welsh pub. Felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door. Service was outstanding. The food matched the friendly atmosphere , the pies are home made highly recommend along with most things on the menu. Well worth the visit if u in the area. There is also a lovely outdoor seating area if the weather is favourable! Well done!

What an amazing group of staff and locals, walked to this pub when I had broken down in the area to get out of the cold weather when waiting for a courtesy car. They couldn’t have been more welcoming, I’ll certainly remember some of the conversations 😂😂

Thanks again for taking me in…..Nath the Runcorn lad

Really friendly staff and a very cosy venue! Worth noting they don't serve food on a Monday or Tuesday, but would recommend.

We booked a table for 6 with just 2 hours notice for a special birthday (40) and on arrival to our surprise the room was decorated with huge helium balloons and banners, the food and service was absolutely fantastic. They where very attentive nothing was to much trouble, made our visit very enjoyable

Staying local and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat. Staff/owners and locals were all very friendly and welcoming. Food was nice and wholesome and drinks spot on. We decided to pop back again the next day for a drink and very much the same. Would recommend.

Exceedingly friendly, cheerful staff - and a really nice beef and chicken* burger.
* done at my request without fuss; both chicken and beef were quite superb.

One small negative: the dining room wasn't available, and the smaller eating room had minimal airflow for 3 tables in a post-CoViD world.

Excellent service with friendly and helpful staff.
Food is definitely worth a try. We had the Ham, egg & chips and the steak pie. Very good and the service was great.
Dog friendly with treats.
Will definitely call back.

We called here on the way to carmarthen for a meal. The food was superb, cooked by Clive. My steak pie was the best I've ever had ! My partner Mike can only eat certain things so Clive made him a chicken korma. Nothing too much trouble and he even wrote some directions for us. John, the owner is a lovely friendly guy who engaged in conversation but left us to enjoy our lovely food. Thanks so much guys, it was a pleasure, sue and Mike x

Were camping close by so we're thankful for the warm welcome by staff and a lovely wood burning fire. The interior is old fashioned but very comfortable. We ordered food which arrived promptly and it was fabulous. I'd definitely recommend the burger. We played pool with the kids and then walked back to the camp site (spring rock fishery). Definitely going back in a couple of days.

Our local for our week away, really friendly staff, excellent food, and good quality beer. Recommend the Three Tuns XXX and Solstice. And the best part was the August Bank Holiday charity festival. Really great fun.

The new ownership has really improved it, not from the area but pass through frequently. Tried food from the new kitchen and would highly recommend. Well priced, good portion size and great quality. Very child friendly and very helpful staff. Would highly recommend

Modernized pub with original features. New suede super comfortable bar chairs which the ladies will love. New tables and chairs. Spotlessly clean. Nice fire. Serves food. Has outdoor facilities. Friendly owners. If in the area, do yourself a favour and go visit. Don't be put off by the scaffolding, it's only work in progress.
