Ramsgate Beach

Ramsgate Beach was the perfect getaway for our long weekend! We stayed in an apartment just a short walk away, and the convenience made our trip even better. The weather was great, and the beach itself was peaceful and relaxing. It wasn't overcrowded, which made it easy to enjoy the scenery and the gentle waves. Plus, the best Wetherspoons is right along the beach—an ideal spot to enjoy breakfast and start your morning. This was our first visit, but definitely not the last—we'll be back! We loved everything about Ramsgate.

Well worth a visit. Free Car park near by, Nice soft sand. Buckets and spades can be purchased from a kiosk at the entrance near the pavilion from £2 ( when I went). Deck chairs hire £4.
Great to see an old closed run down former beautiful building has been restored. It's now a weatherspoons with a stunning view of the coast from their terrace and the rear of the building steps out on the sand..

Clean and not overly busy. Visited during the school holidays. It's really lovely and I can't recommend Peter's Fish Factory enough! Best fish and chips ever! Epic!😋

Fantastic golden sands not so crowded like Margate. Excellent for sea swimming.

Such a lovely sandy beach. Kids loved playing in the sand and sea. When we went it was not crowdy.

Really nice beach. Had a lovely 2 hours as the parking was £5.60 for 2 hour visit. Council could reduce parking as it is only £6 all day at josh bay.

Lovely to walk past and visit local attractions such as the Ramsgate tunnels nearby, perfect for photography!

Nice beach. I visited on a hot day. The station is a good 20 min walk away but there is a bus. Only downside was the number of dogs on the beach. Visited the UK largest spoons on the front by the marina.

One of the most beautiful beaches in United Kingdom. The atmosphere of the town adds up to the beauty of beach. Had a great experience there. Lot of restaurants and shops around the area. It’s a must see!

I love going to Ramsgate beach with my friends. The coast is very beautiful and the beach is sand.Good parking facilities and places to eat.

The town centre is close by and there is a really nice boat dock and pier near the sea front.

I will visit again in summer holiday...

Right next to the Royal Harbour is Ramsgate main beach lots of golden sand for the kids to have fun with making sand castles. Right by the main beach, you have the Ramsgate Tunnels. You can pay to have a guided tour, or you can have a leisurely stroll around the harbour when you need a break from the beach

Me and my husband had a lovely day out.

Wide expanse of clean golden sand. Ice creams, drinks and snack vendors close by. Cafes and restaurants around the harbour. Pleasant walk along the upper promenade with pretty gardens. A traditional British seaside experience 😊

Just a lovely chill place! Recommend going off peak time and keeping an eye on your food when seagulls are around. Very beautiful views!😁👍

Beautiful beach, sandy, having plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants n bars around. Good for kid to have fun n play around. Love to walk long on that beach n enjoy my day. It has a huge Marina full of yachts, boats. A museum is around too. A package for full day fun. Hope b back soon

Lovely beach, great sunbathing spot. A bit of shelter, nearby cafe and toilets. Lots of lifeguards on duty. Safe and relaxing g spot for sunbathing.
