Really loved this place. Great value for so much to do, would definitely visit again. Only gripe is not enough bins around but other than that, fantastic!!!

Had a lovely day out with friends and kids, huge playgound and outdoor areas to explore were clean and well maintained, bow target pracising (free), tree houses and fun forest walks. Will be returning!

We’ve been coming to Mountain View Ranch for years, both with family and during my Nannying days, and it’s got to be one of our favourite family friendly (and dog friendly!) days out!

They have an on site coffee shop, toilets, water bottle filling station and street food vendors on weekends and in the holidays, so we end up spending the whole day here easily! There’s so much to do for both the little ones and the older ones and they continue to update it with fun, new things to do. One of the best places in South Wales!

Such a great day out! Really well done, loads for children to do. Play areas are great and the walk is brilliant. Great value for money. Will definitely be going back! Only negative is that there is very little food on offer to purchase. There was only pizza available, nothing else. Which was very limited. And if you have any food allergies, there were no alternative options available. Bring a packed lunch!

We thought the place was amazing! It was huge and so many things to see and explore. My son and his friend thoroughly enjoyed it and so did the parents!
Would definitely come back here.
The staff were all lovely. Thank you!

Myself and my family throughly enjoyed our day out. My daughter who is 4 years old was so excited when there. She loved the adventure, looking at the map to find secret hidden areas. For me it was lovely to see my daughter outside enjoying the natural beauty of the place without any modern technology to distract her. It was back to basics fun at an extremely high quality. We will definitely be back. Keep up the good work. We need to have more places like this for children to enjoy away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

We took our grandson to the Mountain View Ranch. He absolutely loved it. He had a beaming smile all day. So many activities for children and so good for adults to watch the children having so much fun. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good facilities for snacks and bathroom breaks. Also dog friendly which was a big plus

What a place! Wish this was around when my kids were little. Took my 8 yr old niece and nephew. They loved it. We were there about 4 hours but you could easily spend the day there.
Lot's of parking, close to entrance.
Lot's of toilets; one right at the entrance, one by the play area and one in the cafe. There are also 3 portaloos as you go around.
The cafe serves hot and cold drinks, cakes and pizza. Nothing else. The coffee is lovely. I really enjoyed the pizzas, but the kids weren't so bothered. The pizzas are £8, £9 & £10. They are made on site, you can watch them being made.
There is a lot of walking, which is great. It's pushchair friendly. Because of how much walking there is if you're not sure whether you want/need to take a pushchair; take it! Better to push an empty pushchair than carry a toddler!
The first half is wheelchair friendly (small stones/grass paths). Not sure about the woods onwards. I'm not a wheelchair user myself so wouldn't like to say.
There are lots of picnic benches as you go around so a great place to take a picnic.
Would really recommend it.

A great place for families with young children and older children. Plenty of space to walk and dogs are welcome too. We went during the Halloween event. The mountain view ranch was well decorated and all the staff were very engaged with the children. Looking forward to revisiting again in the future.

Fantastic day out, well worth the ticket price, once you're in, you technically don't have to pay for anything (if you take a picnic etc) there's so much to do and see, great for kids of all ages and gender. They get plenty of fresh air and have loads of fun. Definitely a great way to get your 10k steps in too 😁

Excellent experience, our first time there so had no idea would to expect. It was so well thought out. The stamps to keep children engaged,.A lot of activities from a simple rope swing , bouncy pillows, tree houses, park, archery and more. Toilets dotted through out which is a great idea and they were clean. Given the size and the numbers of people on site the place was so clean. A lovely cafe and food cart. Will definitely be back.

We loved our day here, older son loved the tree houses and the swings, and the big pillow! Youngest was all about the trail and just happy to be outdoors in the wild! Weather definitely helped, we got there for 11 and didn't leave until close, both kids worn out and happy. Thank you 😊

Lovely place to visit. You get given a map to stamp all the attractions off as you visit them and collect a sticker at the end. Although the place is mainly aimed at younger children, my older children enjoyed it too. The goats were a form favourite of all of ours!
Plenty of picnic spots and benches. The highlight for my son was the huge jumping pillows, he loved them! The coffee shop sells nice coffee with a range of milks, but had long queues.
The car park is free with plenty of spaces. We did have to book online to enter the place itself.
So much there to look at we managed to stay the whole day!
The only downfall was the toilets which were very unclean and smelly.

Great place for a day out! Lots of fun and a great outdoor space for kids of all ages. Ours are 3 and 12, both enjoyed!

Make sure you take plenty of drinks with you in the warm weather as it's a long trail if you run out!

Ample parking, easy to find.

Food and drink reasonably priced and a fair choice. Only downside - ice cream is delicious but you have to pay extra 50p for sauce!

All in all a great day out!

Brilliant day out. Took our 3 year old granddaughter and spent 4 hours enjoying the trail, play areas and pillows.
Pizza was delicious too.
Will definitely return.

Fantastic place to take the kids to wear them out, with something to do and see around every corner. There's lots of adventures to be had and my children always thoroughly enjoy.
Lots and lots of walking. Especially if you want to see everything. Lots of hills and uneven terrain but not impossible to lug around a pushchair, the place has signposts now so if you follow them it's impossible to miss anything they have to see! It's a tradition for us family to have pizza there and probably one of the only places I don't take a packed lunch because the kids love the stone baked fresh pizzas there and they are very reasonably priced.
There's plenty of portaloos dotted around the place on the walk, but it would be really handy if the place set up a snack shack in the middle of the walk, so people can get more refreshments if needed. As at the moment if we needed anything to eat/drink we would have to head right back to the start of the trail which is quite a trek for families with small children especially. Of course I would recommend you bring your own stuff if needed, but it's the extra lugging around on top of the walk.
Wellies are probably needed on a rainy day.
Honestly if you haven't been here before you really need to go! It' wears both kids and adults out (think of the steps you will get in 😉)

It was our first time visiting (myself and my 7 year old), and we had a wonderful day! Such a fun packed day out. He loved exploring all the tree houses and woods, and spent ages on the bounce pillows. Will definitely return!

Stopped off here with a toddler and baby on a road trip - it was so good! Great play area and brilliant gruffalo trail that was the perfect length for little legs (took us about 20mins). There is also a longer trail which we didn't do. Fab coffee and cafe and great little pizza hut!! Well worth a visit.

We brought 9 children (age 3 - 10) for my daughter's birthday party and they all had a wonderful time. There's so much to do, climb, swing on, roll down, bounce on and explore. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and kindly allowed us to leave the cake I'd brought in a cool place until we were ready for it. The only bad thing I can say is that although we were there 10am - 3pm, it still wasn't enough!
