Best day of my life! The great barn is absolutely gorgeous venue, and I would recommend having your special day here!
Shoutout to Kate who was our coordinator and was by our side the whole way and did an exceptional job of setting up and helping me with any questions I had leading up to our day and during it & to the team🤩
I felt Kate was apart of our day and I couldn’t be happier 😌
I’m obsessed with how everything was set up and our guests loved the food, it was just such a perfect day and we wish we could do it over and over✨

Wow, where do I start! Absolutely incredible. The Great Barn wedding venue was out of this world, we got married just under 2 weeks ago and we couldn't of wished for a more perfect day.
The attention to detail by all the staff was amazing, Jess was our coordinator and she was the most lovely lady, super bubbly and made our day run so smoothly. We are so so grateful of her and the team!
The food, again wow! We have had so many compliments from guests that have said how amazing the food was and how stunning the venue was, the size of the pavlovas i wish i got a photo they were insane! I honestly would love to to back to the great barn, again and again! Because we have absolutely no flaws, it was absolutely perfect and we thank you so much for helping make our wedding the best day of our lives. (If only we could come back for our wedding anniversary! 😂)

Our daughter married here 2 days ago and we have nothing but wonderful words for the whole experience.
Prior to the day, planning and communication was thorough. They know what they are doing! Our point of contact was Jess and she was very friendly and approachable. On the day, she discretely checked in with the bride and groom several times and managed details that did not need to involve the happy couple. She was great with guidance for timings and also for ensuring there was a quiet space for a “breather” for the bride and groom. We can’t rate Jess highly enough.
The food was amazing! Service was efficient and the presentation was wonderful. Children were served before adults and this was a well-considered action.
A tiny point for improvement might be the quality of the sound system and microphone for speeches, as the room acoustics made this a little tricky.
The venue is stunning. The addition of the ceremony barn makes a big difference to acknowledging the solemnity and specialness of the wedding vows and it is also tranquil and beautifully lit. The grounds are gorgeous and all of our guest were wowed by the setting.

We recently got married at the Great Barn and simply had the best day ever. Right from our first viewing, through to our booking meetings and everything in between the team were great. No detail was too small and everything was considered. On the day I didn't worry about a thing. Everything was dealt with and we had the most amazing time. Our friends and family were so complementary of the food, the service and the general atmosphere - it was amazing. We are so grateful for the team for making our special day such an incredible experience. Thank you xx

From the moment we saw The Great Barn online, we knew it was our venue. After our first visit we booked straight away!

The venue itself is gorgeous, the staff are phenomenal and the organisation and attention to detail shown by everyone involved was top draw.

The venue is set in beautiful English countryside, and even though we didn’t have the finest weather, our photographer was able to capture some fantastic photos in the various backdrops available.

In the lead up to the big day, everything was simple and made clear to us and on the day we were able to relax, get ready and be confident that the staff had everything under control.

The food was exceptional and so many guests told us it was the best food they had eaten at a wedding and the fajita bar was a massive success.

We couldn’t recommend The Great Barn enough and are forever grateful for making our wedding day truly exceptional!

Thank you to Vicky, Jess and the whole team who helped make our wedding day in August so special - from the planning to the day itself we were supported and never left to feel stressed - in fact the whole process was smooth and enjoyable.

The venue is absolutely stunning and guests were keen to comment on how impressed they were with the food - as were we!

Being able to stay at the cottages onsite was a lovely addition too.

We got married at The Great Barn a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have chosen a better venue from start to finish. Laura was great throughout the entire planning process, always quick to answer all of our many many questions! Then Sarah and the whole team were absolutely perfect on the day. They made our wedding day completely stress free and are so talented at what they do! They made us feel so special throughout and we are eternally grateful. We then stayed in the garden cottage which was lovely! Would 100% recommend TGB to all future brides and grooms as a wedding venue! Thank you again x

Attended a wedding. Great location setting and layout.
Food was wonderful, almost everything was thought of. Except if you know you have dietary requirements of guests... non diary milk for coffee is really not to be over looked.

The out side space was great, we were lucky with the weather, so outside seating was wanted. There were different areas, and space for photos and general mingling.
Lots of carparking, easy to find

If you are looking for a one stop venue for a wedding in this area you'd be hard pushed to find better

In 2022 a week after being engaged, my now husband and I found this venue though a quick google search and after being the first and only venue we visited we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It is the most exquisite building with recently renovated modern touches that just work so well together. We got married last weekend and it was the most incredible and memorable day! Vicky is the most attentive, patient, understanding and just the most incredible person. She honestly made our day the success that it was. The food was amazing, the chefs absolutely smashed our menu out of the park.
So whether you're getting married or have an event to plan, I highly recommend hosting it at The Great Barn!

Our wedding at the great barn was nothing short of magical. The team made our day so special, their attention to detail was unmatched. Sarah Waters in particular worked so hard throughout the day and all night to make our life as easy as possible.

The Great Barn, Aynhoe was an absolutely delightful venue with a definite 'wow' factor! Our dedicated event organiser, Jess, was an absolute delight. She was all you want and expect from an organiser but was much more as her attention to detail and foresight was faultless! The in-house chef, Graham Stacey did a super job in producing a delicious bespoke Indian vegetarian meal with so much passion and enthusiasm. The whole event (a special birthday party for my husband) was a roaring success. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Such a special place. Loved it sooooo much I even choose to get married here. So as a customer and Someone who my business works alongside there isn’t a single complaint. 10000000% recommend

An amazing venue for weddings. Delicious food and super staff. On a bright, sunny day the grounds are an extension for the celebrations and a great backdrop for photos. Enjoyed a wonderful day here.

Love this place. It helped that i photographed my first wedding here on the warmest day in April - which meant we could really explore not only the beautiful venue but also the amazing grounds, including the hidden the lake a little bit further away from the venue. With a bit of planning we were able to take the couple down there and it was really worth it. Come rain or shine you have a gorgeous venue here to celebrate your wedding with very accommodating staff.

Amazing wedding venue. All the staff are really helpful, professional and friendly, they have every detail covered (and more you hadn't thought of!) and will make your event run seamlessly from start to finish. I have run a lot of weddings over 15 years or so (although I wasn't in charge of the one here- just bridesmaiding!) and I can honestly say that this the best team I have come across bar none. The venue itself is also beautifully presented, really well managed, and scrupulously clean. The food was delicious and there were huge amounts of it, all produced smoothly and swiftly, on time. I had a really positive experience here and I hope you do too.

Fantastic wedding venue first our daughter's wedding on 28th May. Staff excellent, food fabulous and everything went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend!
