Best breakfast ever, everything cooked fresh to order. If you're pining for food like your grandmother used to cook then get yourself up to Kitridding Farm Shop and cafe. Don't forget to stock up on home reared meat products on your way out. A truly exceptional food experience!

We bought pork & apple burgers from Shap Farmers Market on Saturday morning. They are delicious. Highly recommended. We were on holiday - shame we don't live nearer.

Fabulous farm shop and cafe. Steak pies are top notch. Meat is the finest ever. Highly recommended. Little out of the way but well worth the visit. Not touristy one bit. Set in wonderful countryside

been buying meat from kitridding for years from shap farmers market .
decided to have a run up to the shop and cafe for a change .
the breakfast was superb so tasty and great bacon and sausage , even my g/f who doesn't usually eat a cooked breakfast really enjoyed it and ate everything !! .

First visit to Kitridding for us and we weren’t disappointed. We both had a superb Sunday roast which was so tasty, followed by a delicious sticky ginger sponge pudding with custard. Very reasonably priced too. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely farm shop there also selling very nice pies, meat, gifts and hand made cards.
They were giving away apples which I gratefully helped myself to. All chopped up ready for pies and crumbles!!
I think we’re going to become regular visitors! Thank you to all the staff there for making it a very enjoyable afternoon.

An awesome little cafe/farmshop nestled in the countryside with beautiful views across a large pond. Lovely friendly staff offer freshly cooked homemade dishes. We called in for breakfast and weren't disappointed. Ordered one regular and one small Famous Kitridding breakfast. Wow, fabulously tasty and generous portions. Barely managed to finish! Can't recommend highly enough, 5 stars

Probably the best steak pies you will ever eat.. Just had a take out for Easter and they were truely amazing. Fabulicious !

Brilliant proper farm shop, very pleasant and helpful staff. We had a superb shoulder of lamb and a very tasty and well-filled steak & ale pie, both of which were wonderful and extremely well priced. We'll be back at the next opportunity.

I've only had a pie from here but it was amazing. I had mince and onion but there are other varieties available. Wednesday is pie day. They bake the pies on a Wednesday. If you want a fresh, warm pie then Wednesday is the day to go. I'm writing this on a Monday.... only 2 days to go until pie day.

This is a good independent farm shop. It is set in a very rural location and off the beaten track. The staff who work here are very friendly, polite and professional. There is plenty of choice of food products here for sale & other locally made items.

Fist time at the shop. ( normally get off farmers market kendal). Very friendly staff, very welcoming, cafe wash good. Pie's are to die for, looking forward to eating my meat.

A lovely cafe and farm shop that avoids getting overrun as it's a little off the beaten path. Well worth the effort though, the Sunday roast is better than most gastro pubs in this part of the world and cheaper too. I highly recommend buying some meat from the shop, much better quality than what you'll get in the supermarket (yes, even Booths!).

Just been to the farm shop and the lady in charge was fantastic to talk to and there home made pepper quiche was to dye for, beautiful service fantastic produce, will be going back for more and telling all my friends ❤❤❤

Excellent farm produce and friendly service. All day farmhouse breakfast that is worth the journey. However, the Kitridding menu will have you debating if you have made the right choice... but there is always the next time... and the next!

We bought meat from the farm shop stall at Kendal Food Market the other day. I can honestly say that their meat [steaks, minced beef and sausages] is of the best and tastiest we have ever had.from any butcher. We shall seek them out and so will our friends and relatives!

Great selection of fresh meat and home baking. Lovely food served in cafe , staff friendly and helpful.
