When I'm shopping for any items from a DIY store or builders merchants it's very easy to pre judge what the customer service will be like, not that it's common place for the staff of these types of businesses to be more interested in chatting with the fellow workers and just uttering the occasional grunt when answering any question a customer may have, though let's be honest some of the well known stores do employ staff with such attitudes, but what a difference at wickes in Wigston Leicester, I've always found the staff to be polite and approachable. Today was no different and I would like to praise one young man known as ash for being very helpfull, I asked if any trolleys were available to load 12 bags of building sand, he said no problem give me a few minutes and I'll find a trolley and go and load it for you, then he pushed it to my car and loaded the bags for me. I hope the store manager reads this review, although I can be quick to pick faults with products and staff members when required, I am also aware of how important it is to sing the praises of good staff when its deserved . Five stars to Ash for exceptional customer service.

Thank you massively to Paige at your Wigston branch who has been nothing but helpful sorting my delivery out as I stupidly sent it to an incorrect address! Newly opened store so still looking it's best. Very good product range which was well laid out and plainly displayed with lots of helpful information. Realistic prices for quality items and helpful attentive staff without being pushy. Plenty of easily accessible parking, very handy for my projects!

Went in looking for washing machine and dryer feet sliders which they had at a very good price and were helpful in pointing us to the right place to find them, but we also walked out with two new toilets, two new sinks with two sets of taps which were all at good prices too. Pleanty of staff around to ask for help. Pleanty of parking even special van only spaces which I thought was a nice touch for the tradesmen. Even umbrellas you could borrow when raining for the outside area of materials which was thoughtful.

Nice little spot for a wickes. Good parking, store was set out well and clean and tidy. Would recommend might be my regular instead of B&Q

Why is it that whenever I get partway through a project and want a spacific gizmo, it isn't available any more? Anyway that isn't Wick's fault. The new store in Wigston is as bright as you'd expect. My star rating is based on the staff's great customer service and helpful attitude. I was impressed.

Today I had the misfortune of a very rude Manager called John at wigston ..only to receive the most upmost and amazing service afterwards by a young gentleman called Ethan who I am going to write a letter to your head office.
