I had to look for a Bond Test Assessment book (ages 8-9) for the 11+. Spoke to a staff member (Cathy) who left her work activity and helped me and my son to try and locate the book. Unfortunately, none was on the shelf, and Cathy advised us to go to the 'Fort' or 'Harborne' branch, which was a bit disappointing, as we wanted the book that morning. I was resigned to ordering the item on Amazon prime, to get the book the day after.

Before leaving the store, I went to look at some birthday cards for a relation. Fortuitously, while, I did this Cathy approached me again and said she would check in the store room on the remote chance that the book maybe there. She didn't have to do this, but she insisted on it. Thankfully, she returned after a long search with the book. We both fully appreciated Cathy's persistence and excellent customer service. Great location, competitive prices and supreme customer service as illustrated by Cathy mean, I am sure to return back to the store in the near future.

I always find whsmith useful for children's older, chidren gifts for birthdays. Interesting games puzzles and always good quality
For pens felts crayons all safe worth paying that little extra, Christmas always something different...

The post office section is always busy but thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff you are not stood in the queue for very long.

The que was very long for the post office. The lady who served me said very sorry for keeping you waiting, very pleasant nice staff. I even got a thank you & have a nice day which was very nice indeed

Always love coming in here for a good book, and some stationary. Staff are helpful too.
