Yet another great Aldi store in East Cheshire.

This relatively new store which was purpose built on a large plot directly off Manor Lane is large, light, airy and very well laid out.

All the offerings you've come to expect and love from the modern Aldi stores but right up to date in terms of layout, fixtures and fittings.

Same great staff plus a huge carpark. Definitely worth a visit if you're an Aldi shopper and either in the area or fancy a change of store.

UPDATE - NOV 2023

Still fresh and well laid out just like my earlier visit.

Just topping up on essentials PLUS getting a couple of boxes of Budweiser beer for a good friend.

Mixture of "Own Label" plus "Top Brands" is what makes Aldi a growing grocery favourite with more and more people.

Add in their Specially Selected range and Special Buys across ALL non-food categories and you've got a market-leading recipe.

The local Scout Troop were also in-store after the tills today selling Poppies and Royal British Legion products for The 2023 Poppy Appeal.

Great to see a National Retailer allowing and encouraging such local community activities too.

Keep up the great work Aldi and especially the Store Team here at Holmes Chapel.

I must say - I ridiculed Aldi when they first arrived in this country, labeling them a foreign version of cheap and cheerful Kwik Save, which were in the lowest tier of grocery discounters. How wrong I was. Excellent range of quality foods at brilliant prices, including many unusual but tasty lines. So, clean, bright stores, well organized so shoppers know roughly where certain items are in every store - including those on the continent. Then, there's the "tat aisles" in the stores' centres. My daughters love them, I hate them but I have purchased several useful items that I never knew I needed!! So, bright quality buildings and food, well laid out with fast checkouts and plenty of brilliant free parking. Pity about the electric car charging stations - always vacant because nobody can read the instructions in tiny writing at knee high. Can't even get down at my age!

I'm not sure why Google keeps asking me to review Aldi stores. Is this really what my life has become? Years I have strive in the electrical and engineering industry, finally to become a teacher and pass my knowledge on to the next generation, bit Google wants me to review (again) a shop that has all the charismatic qualities of John Major. The idea with aldi is they are all the same, the layout is the same, the savings are always good, they don't play the stupid game of swapping the Isles around ( sweet Jesus that annoys me), so in short, if you have been to one Aldi you have been to them all, if you haven't been to one, you either have too much money, or not enough common sense. Now please Google, leave me alone.

Excellent branch of Aldi.
No doubt about it - one of the 2 German supermarkets in a middle-class area are the ones to seek out. Sadly our local store in Cheadle does not meet this requirement !
(Our local Lidl in Handforth most certainly does).
Aldi definitely have the better wines imho.

Good range of food, ice creams, drinks and extras. Clean, well stocked with friendly staff.
Excellent prices compared to other stores in the village, so I go there first and definitely save money on my weekly shop.

I love Aldi, the places are light, bright and choc a bloc with goodies! I always say you can get all that ' stuff' you never knew you needed there😅. I buy nearly everything of Aldis' own brand, Bramwell, because its good food and a very good price. I like their fresh produce too, meat, vegetables and fruit: all good quality and again a good price. Their flowers last AGES too. The staff are lovely and I've got to know a few by name; Hi Paul, Shannon, Chloe of University Way. Can't fault anything yet.
