Waterstones is one of my favourite shops. A vast collection of books of every genre, laid out, so everything is easy to find. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Great to have a bookshop in Guildford, they have a unique atmosphere! Also, I'm rather pleased to hear you refused a rent increase and moved across the road for less!

Large bookstore offering a wide variety of books and board games. There's 2 floors packed with books and recommendations.

There's a small list of categories on the side wall that you can check to know where you should be headed for your favorite book genres.

Plenty of biographical and nonfiction (gardening, cooking, etc.) books but not many horror books. Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for the latest horror books.

The staff here are always lovely, helpful, and friendly (including clambering into the window display to get you the last copy of a book!).

There is also a pretty solid selection of books (and other general gift items and cards) for a relatively compact store.

What a great place for readers. I love the random hand written synopses that some of the books have! Organised well, reasonably easy to find the area you want or just browse until you like something

Place is like Hogwarts of books 📚 the staff are brilliant at helping you get your latest manga in my case but can but anything for you. Point is going in here I feel like I'm going on an adventure 🙌🏾 highly recommend 🎉📚

I love going in to this bookstore, because I love books. But what makes the experience truly wonderful is that the staff; they are really friendly and helpful and more....Even when they are busy, they are all up beat, because of the welcome I receive and the contentment I feel for being in a bookstore, I don't mind waiting at the end of a long queue at any time of the year. All my thanks to staff in Guildford store.

Our 7 year old has been making a bee line for this shop for years. Excellent children's books section and educational toys area. Lovely and cool on a hot day too!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Usual Waterstones range of books but really spaced out so you can browse easily. Always come here for one book and leave with half a dozen!

Always love a quiet perusal in a book shop. Easily found some books to entertain me. Loved the growing range of tabletop games and party games.

Fair selection of books, pleasant atmosphere; helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff

Just a brilliant book shop with a small café on the first floor. Very helpful staff. Support bookshops and libraries as writing is the single most important invention in the history of the world. It makes man (and woman, other sexes are available) immortal. It stops us having to reinvent everything every time we need it. Without writing, it could easily be argued that we would still be rubbing sticks together in a cave rather than progressing as we have done.
Support Waterstones. Buy a book. Enjoy the ambience.
