ALDI

Clean, spacious, and everything you expect from an Aldi store in terms of value for money.
Love the fact they now have chiller doors on everything to save on energy loss. It also makes the stores a lot less cold to walk around.
Great selection of produce and lots of "random goodness" in the centre aisle. You never know what you will find in there 😅

The store was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly

I use Aldi in Pontypool and Caerphilly.ALL THETIME. All the staff are friendly and helpful and it's lovely that the same people have stayed there and if I can't find something one day and it comes in they recognise me and tell me its in again. Huge supermarkets but with the friendliness and customer knowledge of a different era. Of course the food.is excellent quality and SO MUCH CHEAPER than Asda or Tesco. I

Really good supermarket it has a massive range of products. Quality food, quality items, really helpful staff. Really good pricing much cheaper than other supermarkets and more choices. Wonderful shopping experience highly recommend a visit here

Space in car park and plenty of food etc on shelves. My only complaint is they didn't have their wonderful roulade in.

Look it's Aldi some of the stuff is real good some not so good , thats life. But get one of their large trollies, really get one these things are the rolls royce of shopping trollies. Smooth with impeccable handling

Big store with wide aisles and a good selection of products. It also has self service tills which are very handy if you're in a rush or, if like me, you get flustered at checkouts. This Aldi is a lot less crowded than others I use.

Excellent and much better than having to go all the way to Cwmbran

Can't fault this Aldi. Love that it has a self checkout as I usually only get a basket of items at a time. The store is clean and tidy and not as cold as the Cwmbran one which is much more pleasant.

Full shelves, only one till open, but after 4 customers queued another opened.

Fantastic brand new store. Brilliant layout, nice wide isles and lots of checkouts including Self Service. YES self service in Aldi. Makes such a nice change to be in and out when you only need a few things.

Update April 2023. Store gone down hill fast. Always looks like a bombs gone off. Shelves, fridges and freezers always empty. Self scan is turned off alot resulting in queues.

What a lovely big clean well stocked aldi. Self-service checkouts which should be in all stores. So annoying when you only have a few items and your stood behind a fully loaded conveyor belt.

I love this supermarket, so conveniently placed off a roundabout on the way home. Not too big but full of great stuff. I had cooked a butternut squash and sweet potato curry and Rylan on the radio mentioned naan bread, so I drove in and got some as well as a few other bits

Visited this new Aldi store in pontypool as this is now closer to me, compared to my usual Cwmbran store and was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of parking which is always good, found everything I needed and would usually get from the Cwmbran store, straight in and out. Granted this was Friday morning so wasn't busy but was perfect for me as I was only going in for a few bits. Loads of selection of foods, the place was clean and tidy as this store has only just opened, and the bonus is, it saves on my petrol as it's closer to me and will become my go to place from now on, so it's a win win from me! Bonus as well it's really quiet during the week, but fairly busy on the weekend so if you can do your food shop mid week your on to a winner

Friendly staff and best value.

Late night shopping was a pleasure.. Having staffed tills made things so much easier than having to negotiate with self service. Average save of 20% was good . Other supermarkets need to take note...
