Bakers & Larners of Holt

I often wonder why we visit Holt in Norfolk 2 to 3 times a year, the reason why is to visit the local attractions and after all this famous shop sitting in the heart of the town.
It is quite remarkable to see such a great store in this location as you may need to spend some time in it to catch all the products they sell, take a lot of money with you as you will wish you took more when you see the items they sell. Fantastic store from food to household, cloths, and many more.
The staff are very helpful and pleasant all we help you with all your needs, if you get there early it is easy to park but around midday it can become a bit tricky.
There is a lot of eat places available in the quaint town but I do emphasize you pay a visit to this great store you will not be disappointed

Superb old style department shop, just like Grace Bros. Great customer centric service from a well established local team where true service counts. The No.10 cafe is amazing with a lovely chef and servers who go the extra mile to please customers! Nicely decorated for Christmas too...

This is a quality store that has been there many years. Very upmarket. Not for those budgeting. A fantastic cheese counter, plus chocolates, wines, men/ladies clothing, plus much, much more, including Aga ovens! Go on, spoil yourself!

First time I'd looked round the store properly. Gosh! It was full of beautiful goods and clothing. It has a café and toilets too which is a bonus. All the staff were very helpful and polite. I'll be back.

Hosted a lovely evening with the wine team at Bakers & Larners on Friday evening, Andrew the chef is a real fined - matched each course with Bollinger which worked really well, excellent evening and well worth looking out for these special events -

A shop like shops use to be!. If you leave without a purchase you must of left your money at home!. Very friendly helpful staff in all departments.

B&L is a traditional department store with great products, friendly staff who care about customer service ... a great experience whatever you are looking for ...

A unique family vibe department store. Great to see in the current High Street economic climate. Worth a visit for that unique gift. Good coffee and food as well

Well worth a visit if you're in the area. I can't believe the size of the shop when you walk in thinking it's a typical shop you will be in for a surprise. Baker and Larners is like walking into Dr Who's "TARDIS" it goes on and on and on. They sell everything from clothes to food to gardening equipment and all good quality. I will definitely be paying another when I'm in the area again.

I think this place is best described as Holt's answer to Selfridges! There are separate departments for men's/women's fashion, cosmetics, toys/games, food, household, etc. As best I could make out, it's spread through several adjoining buildings and on two floors so there's plenty to explore. We'll worth a visit.

The most excellent shop! What more could anyone want.

Harrods in Holt, this store has everything from a bag of screws to a diamond ring, fantastic 'old school' department store, friendly helpful staff, food hall good as is the wine and beer department.

The Grace Brothers of Holt! Everything under one roof. By that I mean an old fashioned department store but that's a good thing as it keeps up with the look and feel of Holt town centre. The shop front is terribly misleading, it's a Tardis inside! The so called departments go on forever. Just when you think you've seen everything up pops another section. From household to gardening, clothing to food and wine. All top quality and very impressive range. But if you are short of time I HIGHLY recommend the food hall. There are some very unusual foods stocked both fresh and pantry reminiscent of farmers market or a delicatessen. Prices are higher than average but this is to be expected. B&L is one of my favourite stores.

Bakers & Larners of Holt is a lovely store. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. How I wish there was one in my hometown.
