Kidwelly Deli

Wow wow wow. What a fantastic place. We have passed so many times but have never had the chance to pop in. We popped in not long before they were shutting but did not feel rushed to hurry up. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable when it came to dietary requirements.
The food was stunning. We had a ham and coleslaw sandwich and a ham, cheese and salad sandwich. With some potatoe salad and chips. Everything was so delicious and tasty. All made fresh. Plenty of decaf options on the drinks too.
The place itself is beautiful. Lots of wood and spotlessly clean. It was relaxed, nice music. Really could not ask for more for a lovely lunch.
Will definitely be returning soon :)

Great find for lunch. All the sandwiches are freshly made and you do not have to stick with the menu as they let you make changes. The staff are really polite and helpful. There is a toilet on site for customers use. You can either eat in (table space allowing) or take away. Very reasonably priced.

A wonderful little gem of a place. We had the salad which was tasty and plentiful. The owners were lovely and friendly and wonderful with our two little chihuahuas 🤗. We will definitely be visiting again.

Gorgeous rustic atmosphere in this deli with dine and take away options, I ordered two sub sandwiches and two rocky roads to take out needless to say they were all divine. Made fresh In front of you with the freshest of ingredients, I watched as a salad was prepared and served and I have to say my mouth was watering. I will most definitely be returning.

Visited on a very frosty 10/12/22. This place was absolutely lovely. The staff were very welcoming and sat us next to a warm radiator so we could warm up.
We started with a latte and then had a delicious festive baguette. The food was stunning !!! Certainly set us up for the day.
Fairly priced and has so much variety on the menus. If you're visiting the Castle, this place is less than a 10-minute walk.

Always the freshest of ingredients and great service. Great selection of freshly made sandwiches and a changing specials board. Go early though, or you'll miss out on their amazing home bakes. Decent coffee too. Here we have a chicken and bacon sandwich with sweet chilli sauce and potato salad.

We were recommended this place for lunch by the guy at the Castle gift shop and so pleased we followed his advice. Such a lovely place, we received a warm welcome. Even on a Tuesday, there were plenty of diners so a lovely atmosphere. Decor was rustic but modern and clean. Lots on the menu. I chose goats cheese, beetroot and apple salad baguette which was made to order. So fresh and the bread was warm, delicious.

Very impressive food and drinks. Loved the hot meatball baguette and the hot chilli baguette. Also good sandwiches in rustic baguettes.

Fantastic place to eat. Homemade breads and cakes. Found it after a visit to Kidwelly castle.

Lovely spot for lunch, the fresh baguettes and jacket potatoes were lovely.

Such a delightful setting, full of character. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Great menu, all home made on the premises apparently. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous treat! Lovely hosts who bake and create a superb menu and really good quality food and drinks. My partner had the home cooked ham and chips and I had a (slightly deconstructed by request) ham sandwich on the most delicious bread I’ve ever eaten! Great service, thank you both!

Popped in for breakfast had a breakfast baguette. It was really good as were the hot drinks. Plus great atmosphere - wish they were open Sunday as we would have gone back again.

Lovely ingredients used to create tasty meals at reasonable prices. Fantastic applewood cheese & home cooked ham sandwich and superb ploughman’s. Clean spacious toilet too

We stopped here for a quick lunch before setting off back home. The sandwiches were excellent accompanied by generous sized coffees. The owners were very pleasant and chatty. We will be back in Kidwelly soon and will certainly revisit for pizza and sandwiches. There are two tables outside.
