McQueen's Deli & Bakery

I went on a Saturday morning and was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff, who were incredibly patient as I took my time deciding between their wide selection of delicious-looking options, which was no easy task! Lots of healthy options available, making it easy to find something that suited my dietary preferences. The coffee was really good; just what I needed to start my day right. But the star of the show was the almond croissant. It was to die for and very moreish!
I will definitely be back for more! Highly recommend!

Worth a visit! This deli is located in what seems to be an old school room.

The staff are friendly and helpful and they have a good range on their menu. Ask produce is cooked and prepared on site as far as I was able to see. My sausage roll was excellent and Lynn tells me that her beetroot (I think!) soup was excellent too. The cake was very tasty too.

There is a wide range in the chillers for purchase including some really unusual cheeses. Well worth the visit and there is some parking available.

Much prefer to the cheese factory cafe down the road. Coffee and cakes are better (home baked) and much warmer than a drafty barn in winter. Great sandwiches too. And you can buy their coffee beans to take home.

Local produce, beautifully presented. Grab some eggs too after a gorgeous brunch of coffee & croissant. A few steps from Nettlebed "The Shed" so also grabbed some cheese toasties to go. Kale & other salads are delicious too.

This is a real gem of a cafe/ deli- definitely worth a visit - pleasant staff- great food , pastries, homemade ice cream great coffee.
Make a stop you won’t be disappointed.

I love this deli, a fabulous addition to our friendly village of Nettlebed. Their pasties are delicious, with the best croissants I have ever had, including French ones. Their sausage rolls are also delicious, and the have a fab range of salads and deli food to go. Highly recommend regular visits! Just bought a lovely looking cauliflower today.

Outstanding coffee, super friendly staff. Great selection of cookbooks to browse while having your flat white and croissant. Wish I lived close by

I was recommended to come here for the pastry section and they didn't disappoint. All the pastries looked great and better yet they are made on site.
Syrup for coffees would be a extra lovely touch.
And what would make this amazing is to open on a Sunday or Monday 😉😉
Will come again when I have the time off when they are open

This place has its own Evil Patisserie Genius.... whom I spoke to this morning, as I had to compliment him on the awesomeness of the pain au chocolat. Frankly it's the best I've ever had - huge, flaky and with epic amounts of chocolate. Worth checking this place out for that patisserie alone. Five stars!

Excellent coffee and food, especially the baked goods. Jack, Tom and the whole team are very welcoming. Great spot for a coffee, lunch or even getting help with a broken bike!

Amazing selection of treats and store cupboard tasties; pastries and salads to die for; all in a great spot for a lovely walk. Friendly staff and tasty hot drinks to boot. 👍

The warmest welcome and the best Frittata I have ever eaten!

We spotted this place by chance on the site of the former Field Kitchen and decided to call in for lunch.
The food was delicious: tasty and imaginative. We had a selection of salads with quiche, frittata and chicken skewers followed by coffee and cake. The staff were welcoming and service was excellent.
They also offer a take away service and a selection of unusual products for sale in their deli.
Definitely worth a visit!

Best food/coffee spot in the area! The loveliest staff, delicious breakfast and lunch options, exceptional coffee, and a refreshing variety of freshly baked treats. Sourdough here is the real deal and the ready meals are unparalleled. Highly recommend eating in, enjoying the decor and browsing the shop front for extra goodies. 10 stars.

Absolutely great little spot, which I happened across whilst on a very hot motorbike ride. Superb coffee, delightful staff, and easily the best sausage roll I've ever had - and I've had a fair few sausage rolls in my time. Definitely stopping there again - I just have to try the pasties...

Great for lunch, the food is excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Decaf coffee some of the best I've had.
