The Kensal Store

Brilliant store for vegans. I highly recommend shopping here. They have such a huge selection of new products to add to your recipes. The fresh vegan sushi is reasonably priced and super duper delicious. I am definitely going back.

Delicious indian street snacks.My husband is now hooked on the home made samosas. So very different from supermarket blah!

Their fresh samosas are literally the best I’ve ever tasted on the planet !

This is more than a simple supermarket as it also sells fresh cooked food (curries, samosas, dumplings, onion banjis, spring rolls) all of which are really delicious. They also have a selection of more healthy food choices and refillable shampoo, washing up liquid… definitely a superb local supermarket!

An amazing selection and very good prices. Lots of nice products that you don't easily find anywhere else. We were really pleasantly surprised and will certainly come back!

Went in today and thought lovely shop, bought most delicious Spring Rolls, 50% off till Feb 28, will be returning for more, really delicious. Wish this new Store every success. When I returned had Amazing veg Curry, wonderful value at half price till end of Feb, and really yummy.

I'm so glad that The Kensal Store has opened bringing quality produce to College Road, Kensal Green. Their samosas and spring rolls are excellent as well as their salad box and curry takeaway.s I haven't tried the soup yet (it was sold out - good sign) . The staff are lovely and this store really has a community feel. I do hope they thrive here.

Absolutely incredible store! A real gem!
This really caters for the demographic in this area who are more health conscious and eco friendly. The range of locally sourced fresh produce is abundant and there is a bounty of wonderful brands you won’t find in your local supermarket. Love the refillable nuts and seeds and even hand gel, fresh coffee and really tasty deli food. Wonderful experience. A very welcome addition to this lovely community. And so glad that nasty betting shop is gone. #VegNotBets

My favourite shop - it’s better than planet organic. The food is delicious and the range of things you can find here is spectacular. Only downside is I want to buy everything here and it means I come here almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day.

This is an amazing local supermarket with probably a great selection of products, in-house sushi bar and amazing Samosas ! Would recommend to this shop for a local and independent spot.

Unlike Steve, who seems to be a serial Troller based on his other reviews, i go with the other reviewers who have only praised The Kensal Store. It is easy to bash a new business just because it is not your thing. Possibly he mourns the dirty old bookies that previously disgraced this site on College Road.
I think the fact that it is constantly busy tells the true story.
The store is a Godsend to College Road and the local area. The staff are well known and loved by many of us in the local area and further to Queens Park, Willesden and Ladbroke Grove.
Constructive criticism welcomed. Nastiness and Trolling will be challenged.

Great local store - terrific choice of wonderful bread, including black rye, and the vegan curries are delicious.

A shining example of how a local food store should be, and a model for the down-and-out 'Costcutters' and other shabby convenience shops to aspire to. A delight to shop here.

Lovely shop. I always pop in here, if I am in the area, for the freshly cooked Indian food, it's amazingly delicious.

Amazing new local shop for College Road. I needed tamarind pods for a Thai Soup I was making as was able to pop over at 7:50pm to buy some.

Such a great local store. Plastic free food staples and coffee and wide vegan and eco-centric range of products.

Nice convenient shop with fresh vegetables. Love the addition of freshly cooked Indian food too.
