Ordered 1 bulk bag of Type1 MOT sub base at 9am.....was delivered to my house by 11am same day. Quality service, quality material, will definitely be using again!

The sort of PROPER DIY shop that all towns should have. Here you can get decent advice and just about anything you could want.
Why waste time going to the likes of B&Q, who actually don't know anything ?

Love this place. Local store, not too big but seems to have everything you need for home DIY. It's surprisingly well stocked and if you can't find what you need the staff are always friendly and happy to point you in the right direction. Easy to get to with parking right outside the door. If you want a friendly local business that stocks a fantastic selection of products but you don't want to walk miles up and down aisles, go here.

Great for the bits & pieces you need for the little diy jobs round the house/garden. (And bigger projects too!) Very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful staff. Always seems to be open including highdays & holidays. Been using Mak a Home for many years & will continue to do so.

Staff in here are great. They usually have in the bits I want. I have found their prices are competitive. What more needs to be said. Oh yes, they even have sweet treats to reward or re-energise yourself!

VERY VERY helpful staff !! I was in a bit of a tight spot and needed to get a load of materials to get a job finished off on a bank holiday weekend for a high profile client,With a "no negotiations" Wednesday deadline !! They were the ONLY builders merchant who were able to get them out to me that day in the WHOLE of Leeds !! TOP TOP MARKS for their help to get it done on time.. ASK LANDSCAPING AND FENCING is beyond grateful for their help. ..

This place stocks more or less everything, bit of an old style handyman/ironmonger/builder's merchant they can deliver larger heavier items and the staff are great, so friendly and the prices are much better than B&Q what's not to like.

Popped in a few times for various DIY bits as it is quicker than going to a major store. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I will continue to use them when needed.

Very nice store, obviously not as vastly equipped as a corporate DIY place but has a very wide variety of tools and consumables, hardware, everything. Nice staff and well priced.
