I had a quick stop, seeking crabbing equipment on a whim. To my surprise, the staff here were incredibly helpful. I found what I needed in no time, and at just £2 a net, it's a steal. The store is well-organised and well-lit. I'll definitely be back. Plenty of parking and no checkout lines. Super-efficient. They've got everything from household goods to toys and food. Impressive!

Always a joy to browse and add more items to one's basket, much more than one needed. Thankfully not to heavy on the bank balance this time

I'm not from round this area and this is the biggest store I have ever seen and the HB stores from my way are tiny by comparison. So much choice and products on display and nicely air conditioned. Easily do a weekly shop here if I lived in this area.

Good stock at low prices. Friendly staff. Always helpful. Much more products. Fresh and frozen items. A bakery as well as shop has moved to bigger premises. Sells furniture and more clothes

New shop is brilliant, HUGE selection, all at their usual reasonable prices, definitely worth a visit. Not sure there’s much they don’t have

Thanks for being so supportive of ambulance staff during these uncertain times. Saturday we were surprised and grateful for the lovely way you showed your support, it was so unexpected. We would also like to say thanks for all of your staff, you also need to look after yourselves and we appreciate the risk you are placing yourselves in to keep everyone going. An army marches on it's stomach and so does ambulance crew require feeding. 😷💐💐💐💐💐💐

Great store very large but always well equipped

If your a person than love to shop around her down to H Bs great stock at great prices.
I get all my day to day bits from here, all me SNACKS and cleaning products. But does not always have the same selection so if you get something you like by double.

Quick and convenient, wide range of goods. Easy to get caught out though, don't always stock the same products so there one week, gone the next!

Great store, plenty of choice and variation in products. Always good prices, friendly staff. Only downside is the Riverside Park location as you are restricted to 2 hours parking only. It's a £70 fine if you exceed this, so it could be an expensive Coffee or McD if you forget the time. You definatley cannot visit all of the shopping outlets if you wanted to, you have to be choosy, or know what you are going to get. Not a lot of time for browsing. The store itself is great.

Best shop ever. Most things are cheaper than £1 stores and generally better quality. For instance, 69p for 4 rolls of sellotape, heavy duty gaffer tape for 59p, 20 glowsticks for 69p, good razors for 99p, very good IPA craft beer for 49p!. Very cheap food, homewares, toys, garden stuff, toiletries, kitchen stuff, fishing stuff etc. The stock is seasonal so there's always something useful to buy every time I go in there. I love this shop it's just fantastic!

This store is my number one go to for essentials. Superb low prices whether that be a reporter's pad, shavers, coffee or even a selfie stick. This place is always busy and so it should be - it's terrific value. Staff always helpful and now you can shop online too. I could easily write a 1,000 words here, but will spare you. Word of Mouth spreads fast and congrats to Home Bargains for being so good :)

I overheard the staff talking amongst themselves and they really care about what they are trying to do. My opinion are the stocks are challenged for variety with covid and Brexit but they are trying their best with what they have. All the stuff is faced nicely and there were very little queues at the tills. I've not witnesses this outside of Chelmsford with Home Bargains. Looks well managed and clean, fair play Chelmsford you've got great staff on the Sunday I visited.

My favourite store. Cheap, good quality, great for toys, toiletries, over the counter type medicines.

Two things to watch out for, sometimes they have crisps and food on a short date (close to expiry/sell by date).

Secondly they often give the recommended retail price against their price, this is often just a plain bullshit rrp to make them look like they are giving you a mega deal.

Great shopping experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best outlets for Home shopping.
