An absolute terrific find after first having looked at large retail computer shops. I cannot recommend Celtic Computers highly enough. Drove over from Anglesey to discuss a custom build for general use and photo editing. Easy to find, with the shop positioned just off the main road network. They quickly came up with a number of options and I’m delighted with the final specification which I just wouldn’t have been able to get at that price elsewhere. Face to face contact and communication, and subsequent telephone and e-mail contact, was courteous and demonstrated excellent customer service. Build completed in less than a week and I am very happy with what I have seen so far. I don’t anticipate problems, but if there were any then I know that I could contact Graham and Poppy directly and get any advice and support I might need. I have already recommended Celtic Computers to others and will continue to do so. In my view, this independent company offers technical advice, customer service and value for money that is streets ahead of other suppliers I have looked at.

Poppy and Graham are award winning for a reason! Their customer service is next-level brilliant. They are brilliant at communicating – clear, timely, human and friendly. I especially appreciated them giving me a ring when they had to close early so I had time to pick up my laptop. I had some very sensitive files on my work laptop and from the outset they were very clear about how they would safeguard them. I have mobility issues and their shop is all one level and you can park right outside – super helpful.

They are honest, kind, friendly people who obviously have the technical skill and experience to manage many jobs. They are transparent and clear about costs (which are very reasonable) from the outset as well as how long things will take. They have a quick turn around and will prioritise jobs if they are urgent.

I’ve tried quite a few other local computer companies and I’ve never felt that I could trust that they weren’t just taking me for a ride. But Poppy and Graham couldn’t be more different - I feel entirely comfortable with them and with entrusting my tech in their very capable hands. It was really refreshing to be able to deal with a woman in this very male dominated industry. Poppy and Graham are obviosuly a great team.

I’ve already recommended them to a handful of friends and will be going back myself whenever I need to.

Transparent process. Fair pricing. I'm so delighted with the whole experience, and I'd 100% come back, although I do hope it'll be to get a device instead of repair one.

I had liquid damage on a 2023 macbook, and Graham suspected the trackpad needed replacing, but it wasn't guaranteed as there may have been more damage that wasn't visible.

Graham inspected it, then talked me through all my options before starting the repair. He was very upfront about the costs, and there was a reasonable quote for labour if the repair didn't work as hoped, but it all worked out.

The cost to replace my trackpad was under £200, whereas I've seen quotes of £600-700 for the same job with Apple and I was resigning myself to just buying a new computer.

The whole process felt really above board, and Poppy and Graham were lovely and great at communicating. Thank you!

quick service minor repair free of charge will use it again

From first point of contact on the phone, to meeting the owner face to face, my customer experience was fantastic. I got genuine, unbiased and professional advice. Although I wasn't in a position to leave my laptop today, restassured I'll be back next week to have an upgrade.

Update! Just got my laptop back from it's upgrade and service. Didn't expect it back so quickly, but it's as good as new. I cannot fault the exceptional service I received which exceeded my expectations. Please support your local independent retailers by using Celtic Computer's, you will not be disappointed.

I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to Celtic Computers. My partner, Gareth, needed a new laptop and I needed some software on mine. I can honestly say this has been the best, professional and most friendly experience I have ever had when purchasing or repairing a computer (& I'm over half a century old!). Gareth's laptop and the software on mine is excellent and both were a bargain.
