Update - needed to use the post office for a return rather than being pulled back by anything good at the coop (see below)
Unfortunately it was Saturday pm and post office was closed thought oops what a wasted journey.
However, on the way out, a new face working at the coop called over and offered to process out postal return for us at the coop till.
I was direct below in my review following several years and awful visits but it's only fair I do the same when there are positives.
The young lady who called us was very helpful, could have happily watched us leave with our unposted parcel in hand but didn't and was fantastic.
If anyone in authority by any chance is reading this, I hope the awful attitude of the long standing employees doesn't impact on a fantastic up beat attitude this girl has. Hopefully she can show the existing staff what customer service means.

This is a mid counties coop so doesn't enjoy the fresh bakery as the main coops have. The store itself is in desperate need for refurbishment, there are no self checkouts and the range of food is poor, doesn't feel well run. Finally, having been in shops locally, nationwide and around the world, I have never encountered such unpleasant, unfriendly staff as are employed here in this branch. This is not just today but over several years here which is a great shame. Note for the post office, their staff in comparison are superb.

It's OK if you need something and don't want to travel or if other shops are closed but I find it a little expensive but is good being open until 10pm

Over priced even before inflation took hold,understocked on certain items on a regular basis, even their sell by items expensive.
