The main Poundland in Walsall is in a great location at the top of the town.
Always a great selection of items at various prices. Just remember not everything costs a £1 like it used to do, prices range from !1 all the way up to £10. Hand sanitising station just as you enter. Hand sanitiser smells lovely, best in any shop by far 😊 Nice wide aisles, easy to maintain Covid rules when not busy. Early morning or late afternoon best time to shop leisurely. Remember only pick up what YOUR buying and you will be safe. Staff nice and friendly. Perfect!

Everything for a pound. HiTech stuff like power banks, earphones, phone cases and a lot of stuff like this all for £1. They also have a lot of stationary, toiletries, food and much more that I can’t remember. A very bright store and polite staff, not big queues normally.

Overall 5/5 because things sold there are for very cheap!

Found all the bits and pieces I needed, and even though the self-service tills can be a bit clunky, especially when using your own bag, there's always someone there to help. Great choice of items and "most" for a pound!

The recent refurbishment looks great! Everything looks shiny, bright, and clean..
Sadly, a lot of the prices have gone skyhigh - double what they used to be and with package sizes massively reduced.

Clean, friendly staff always happy to help. Great range of items at low prices. Wide isle's if you use a wheelchair. clothes, food, frozen, medicine. Cleaning items and many more items to list. You name it they have got it.

Not been in for a while, but had some good bargains, staff nice and friendly.

Absolutely love this place the staff are friendly, helpful, nice clean shop and nice experience all-round... plus always buy more than I go for love it .

Great selection of general appliances, snacks and drinks etc at good prices. The staff are very nice, in particular a lady on the till bought me my drinks as my credit card was declined twice which was very nice of her! Very good shop with very nice staff!

You know what, ten years ago, I used to think Poundland was pretty awful, and a pound was too much for some of the junk they were selling, but things have changed.
Fast forward to today (2023) and they are level pegging with Home Bargains and B&M for range of stuff and quality of goods.
Overall I would put them first on price, though as B&M prices are the same now as major Supermarkets.
Poundlands are now the go to place for a lot of odds and ends, that I would have otherwise gone to HomeBargains for.
Great tool and DIY selection.
The clothing range Pep & co is good. Packed sandwiches, drinks and toiletries are another winner.
I sampled a chicken and bacon sandwich today and it was excellent.
Frame sealant, No more nails and applicator gun, cheaper in cost than elsewhere too.

Nice place to get amazing things for just a pound

Great variety of stock, staff are always helpful. Queues not too bad depending on time of visit.

Absolutely great. Lovely items for every season. Some can be a bit more in price than other stores as everything is for a pound,so if somethings 79p it's still a pound there. I do enjoy browsing around as they hve lovely items.

Great place to shop not too expensive

Some stores are better than others as marketing is placed in higher regard than customer satisfaction. My wife rides a mobility scooter as she is 75% disabled and finds it difficult to get around the store.

The products in the main are of a reasonable quality but you only get what you pay for.

Poundland was the oect of the storeriginal goto store for all things £1 but have not increased prices on other ranges upto £5+...which defeates the object of the store.

All staff are polite and helpful and both the manager and assistant manager are doing a great job with the team

Ok. I might be one of the last to get on this band wagon but I've give this place 5 stars purely down to the tills! Who knew that Elvis tills existed? *channels Elvis * 'Thank you very much'... made my day!

You can find plenty of products from food to home things. There are plenty of staff and its full of bargains. Good selection of products, especially books but it is not all £1. Would recommend.

Great items and always end up buying more than what I went in for,the sweets are all of excellent quality and taste great too.andbthe staff are always help full to me not just because I'm disabled they help everyone.

Easy to navigate, them added more expensive products (about 5er) so quality of products is much higher now and still much cheaper than big retailers. Just some products cost more, you have to figure out yourself

Great friendly staff, a huge range of products to choose from, the shelves are constantly being replenished with stock, fantastic prices and excellent value for money
