I said yes to my dress yesterday at Shropshire country brides! I was recommended to go here for my dress. I am so glad that I listened and went here. All the staff are lovely, I could not thank them enough. I was really put at ease from the second I walked through the door and nothing was too much. They really know what they are doing and listen to what the bride wants. I will always recommend anyone that says they need a wedding dress to come here you will not be disappointed. Such a lovely morning finding 'the one'. My mum and I felt welcomed immediately, Kerrie was so friendly and genuine, we felt right at home. Kerrie was fantastic at hearing what I liked and wasn't so sure of as I tried dresses on, taking everything on board and pulling more for me. Her knowledge of the stock was great and it made the journey seamless. Suggestions were all within or very close to my budget, I didn't feel pressured at all, I couldn't fault the entire experience. This is the third bridal shop I've been to and I would highly recommend it; absolutely stunning dresses, the best range I've seen so far and a really friendly team. Hannah was our stylist and looked after us from start to finish. She understood my vision, really quick and pulled plenty of dresses for me to try I. She was really helpful, and made the entire experience absolutely perfect. The variety of dresses was also very vast so if you like something on one dress, and something from another, chances I they will find one that matches that criteria! Definitely recommend. Shropshire Country Brides bridal shop has a great selection of wedding dresses and the employees are all very welcoming. I was interested in dresses that varied in length and I was recommended multiple styles to try on. The ladies took their time to hand-pick dresses and they made my wedding dress shopping experience very memorable. They were also very accommodating as I wish to get my dress altered in a different country, they could ensure that the dress would be ordered in within 3 months.

I visited SCB yesterday (25.5.24) with a complete open mind thinking it was just gonna be a taster session as it was my first time trying on any wedding dresses.

I was booked at 11am, and unfortunately we didn't take it into account that it was a bank holiday Saturday and we were running about 5 mins late. I called up and they were lovely about it, no awkwardness or suggestion that our time will be shortened.

Me and my bridesmaid arrived first, and was greeted by the lovely Sarah. We explained that my mum and sister was about 15/20 minutes away and again, no problem at all.

I had a dress I had seen online that I knew was stocked, and Sarah made sure that this was taken out for me to try after my mum and sister had arrived. In the meantime she asked some questions about what I do and don’t like, and went ahead and picked some more dresses for me to try. And I tried the first and as i was taken aback!

I think in total I had tried about 7? Dresses, and I wasn’t rushed or made to feel at all like I was trying too many on either. Sarah was so helpful and kind and made the experience so stress free and fun.

I was very fortunate that I found my dream dress on my first ever visit, and so happy that I did my research on bridal boutiques before booking, and SCB was perfect.

There was some reviews about not having the full place to yourself, but it’s set up that you don't even realise. When I was stood on the podium looking at the mirror, it was the exact direction of the other bride, but because of the layout of furniture, I couldn’t even see over so it made no difference to me.

Very much looking forward to coming back when my dress has arrived. Sarah and the whole team were absolutely brilliant.

I had such a lovely experience at SCB and today, I said yes to the dress! The team are all absolutely lovely and so knowledgeable but I have to mention Sarah in particular was so so helpful. She understood exactly what I was looking for and pulled off plenty of dresses for me to try on. There was no rush, and no pressure whatsoever. Highly recommend paying a visit!

At the weekend I went to Shropshire County Brides. This was the first bridal shop I had ever gone to and as a plus sized women I was really nervous. I really shouldn’t have been as they made me feel at ease straight away. My opinions were taken into consideration and the second dress I tried on was perfect. There are hundreds of dresses there and it was amazing that the first dress they picked out was exactly what I wanted and more without having to say it. I am now massively relieved I have a dress and can tick it off my list.

I said yes to my dress at Shropshire Country Brides yesterday and would 1000% recommend anyone I know getting married to come here for their wedding dress. The whole experience was so special and the team were so welcoming. I had an idea of mind of the style of dress I liked, and they absolutely nailed it with the first dress they pulled! The selection of dresses they have is incredible and they gave me plenty of time to try on and think about other dresses before we confirmed it had to be the first one. Thank you so much for making the experience so incredible, I am so excited for the day I get to come back and pick up my dress!!

Had the most amazing experience choosing my dream dress today! Kerry was so helpful and listened to all the factors I wanted in a dress, which she found on the second try! She made me feel at ease and so comfortable, as a plus sized lady, confidence is hard to come by but she made me feel beautiful. The shop is gorgeous and all the ladies are super friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone finding their wedding dress :-)

Bridesmaids Dresses
We came to Shropshire Country Brides to find our bridesmaids dresses and are very pleased to say that we found them almost immediately! The staff are incredibly friendly and my bridesmaids said that they were lovely to work with, it didn't feel uncomfortable at all! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for gorgeous dresses, good quality and prices!

Had a really lovely experience at Shropshire Country Brides. My second time dress shopping but first time at this shop. Hannah completely put me at ease, I felt she listened to everything I said and picked the perfect dresses for me, I only had to try 4 dresses on before finding 'the one'. Would recommend anyone and everyone to come here as it was such a positive experience!

I had the most wonderful experience at Shropshire Country Brides! I first went in August 2023 along with my mum and bridesmaids to try on some dresses. Sarah was so welcoming and friendly and chatted to us about what type of wedding we were having and what the venue was like. She was also really interested in knowing what style of dress I was looking for. She went off and gathered a selection of dresses for me and helped me to try them on. What I loved was that she also pulled out dresses that I had originally said I wouldn't be keen on but she wanted to see what I thought. It turns out she knew me better than I did! From the moment I tried on my 'yes' dress, I knew it was 'the one'. It was completely different to what I thought I would go for but I fell in love with it. I ordered it that day and received a letter when it had arrived. I then went to try on my dress and took it away with me with details of a seamstress who could do any alterations. Also, SCB steamed my dress and veil for me prior to my big day. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you so much.

If you want a relaxed, nurturing experience then this is where to come! Jackie and Emma were absolutely lovely from the moment we were in touch… we had a crazy morning beforehand and then got stuck in traffic so we ended up being fairly late but the appointment was totally stress free and enjoyable. I even had my 6mth year old rolling around their floor whilst I tried my dresses on…
Previously I had read lots of scary things online about bridal shops and etiquette so was really nervous but Jackie and Emma were the perfect duo by making it so inviting and open… Much to my surprise I found my dress! I can't recommend Shropshire Country Brides enough! The most incredible experience saying yes to my dress a couple of weeks ago, the team truly went above and beyond, the shop is gorgeous and Sarah made me feel so at ease during my appointment... I am so grateful for the amazing experience and can't wait to come back to collect my dress!

Today I said yes to my dress, I couldn’t recommend this shop enough! I was really nervous to go and try on as I didn’t want just your typical wedding dress and Kerry couldn’t have delivered more if she tried. I had the best experience wedding dress shopping at Shropshire Country Brides! I was made to feel so welcome and comfortable for the entire session and the lady who helped me (I’ve forgotten her name, a blonde younger lady!) was absolutely amazing! She was never ever pushy about buying the dress there and then, gave me honest advice on the dress styles to try and what did and didn’t work for me, whilst also listening to what I wanted in a dress. I had originally gone into the fitting just wanting to try on dresses and had no real intention of finding ‘the one’ that day. I was able to try on the ideas of what I thought I definitely wanted and then tried other dresses on, and ironically, I fell in love with the dress that had everything that I’d said I ‘didn’t want’! The lady (I’m so sorry for forgetting her name!) was brilliant and I took 24 hours to make sure I was happy with my choice, it was very easy to get booked back in and I was able to go back and try on my dress and veil again.

I came with my mum and 4 bridesmaids, they were all made to feel welcome and a part of the process as well which was amazing!

The shop is absolutely lovely and has very comfy sofas, and a lovely glass of Prosecco 🍾

Shropshire Country Brides was my first experience of dress shopping and what a morning it was. As soon as you arrive at the door the girls can not do enough for you right up till the time you leave. They were so helpful and listened to everything you wanted and went above and beyond to get it spot on. I went in with a rough idea what i wanted but they still took the time to let me try other styles and colours on just so you could see yourself in different dresses. I was very lucky to walk away with my perfect wedding dress today and I can't thank SCB enough

The quality, and choice of dresses is amazing, there are so much to choose from and there is no pressure on buying a dress. There is also an extensive choice of shoes and accessories to buy

What can I say, SCB were amazing from my very first time trying dresses on to my very last fitting. The team were professional and welcoming, they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The dresses and designers they stock are all so beautiful and there is so much choice for all sizes and styles. Also, Jackie has been incredible, she has so much knowledge and experience within the industry that any worries or anything that you may have she puts you at ease. I couldn't recommend SCB anymore😊
