B&Q Newport

Took half an hour to get there as we decided to go for a ride to a different store. We got what we needed and the staff were very helpful even though the shop was closing they still said they would show us what we were pricing up. But said we would just take a look online. So they could close up and get home

Went to buy a small jet wash lawn mower n firepit..got all that I wanted n came to £98 with my bbq discount.i joined the bnq club n I love it.the staff are always helpful,I could spend hours hear.

I absolutely loved this place, and it was my first time in a B&Q too.

I needed plant pots, trays, and was on the lookout for Thyme, Rosemary and Lavender. They had all everything and so much more! The self scan went smoothly and I will definitely visit again.

I did not need assistance from their staff, the signage was clear by itself.

We needed 15litres of a paint sample we had previously purchased and tested in our house. The colour unfortunately was not on the shelves and the first person we spoke with, Jane, was absolutely useless. She had a brief look on the system and just simply said no we don't have it. Luckily my husband decided to go back to the desk and this time he spoke with Ozzy who was brilliant! He not only found the colour we wanted but he also found variations of the colour as well as showing us similar colours to ensure we were happy with it before he went ahead and mixed it. As long as Jane is not at the desk, we will definitely be returning.

Dreadful difficulty returning an item we bought from the B&Q website. So, why the 5 stars? Spoke with Tracy over at the Newport B&Q store. She was extremely helpful in helping us to return the item. Tracy was very friendly and professional too.

I went there to chose cupboards for a new kitchen, Leighton was very helpful with suggestions, designed the whole project and I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service.

Simon and Kerry were incredibly helpful. They took the time to solve the problem I was having with my order not being delivered. B & Q online customer service and chat line was useless, but the staff at the store were very patient and professional. Huge thanks to both of them

I went into B&Q Newport with an eclectic list of requirements & managed to get everything I needed, plus - their wood cutting service is so useful 👍👍

Well stocked, well spaced, particular liked the real home layouts and design, has the appropriate numbers of customers in store as service was courteous and professional. You get what you want quickly as there are available and staff are readily available to help and assist.

Got all I needed. Paint mixed to order and in the perfect colour shade. Friendly staff, everything clean and tidy. We'll stocked and reasonably priced for non trade. Great parking - van sized spaces and easy access.

All your DIY needs and more. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Bargains are to be had.

A very big but well laid out store. It was not too busy on my visit It was easy to navigate through the isles , when I needed assistance a member of staff helped me straight away. Would recommend you visit here.

Handy location and lots of parking. Lots of stock nowadays. It was a bit sparse during lockdown but back to its best. Reasonable prices but sometimes worth price checking other stores. Prefer these over Screwfix and Toolstation as you can talk to a human and look at the stock on shelves.

Very helpful staff and manager. Bought garden furniture that was on offer. Had to do 2 trips in car. Purchase was safely kept .

Helpful staff, Good stock and catering well for social distancing. Went out of their way to assist me with taking a bulky item through narrow Isles. Price was reasonable. Would definitely use them again

Great, well stocked warehouse. Plenty of options for home and garden. Had the pleasure of being served by Olivia when I visited the store, she was very helpful and accommodating (especially considering I was picking up a click and collect item much earlier than planned). Good store to go to for any DIY needs, prices are fair and staff are helpful.

Expert help given on the paint dept, specifically the Valspar paint mixing area. A lovely young lady called Elinor was so happy to help, she had only been working in the store for 4 weeks but was very knowledgable and willing. Hang on to her B&Q she is a credit to you and herself!

Great parking, wheelchair accessible, automatic doors and very wide aisles. Products ranging from kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms. Garden supplies through the back doors, plants and sheds or gravel or compost and some smaller trees. You can buy electric tools, manual ones, parts of locks, lights and microwave, which is why we went in there today. Staff are helpful and friendly and there are toilets inside if you get caught short.

Very helpful staff who know their product range. If they haven't got what you need in stock they are more than willing to order it for you or search on Internet to help you find it.
The B&Q Clubcard entitles you to a 10% discount every Wednesday in the garden centre department.
