Asda Charlton Superstore

I like this store. In addition to the extensive assortment, there is a pharmacy,a Click and collect department, you also can send money abroad ( Travel Money 💸) and,if desired, print a photo from your phone. In addition to food, drink,a large selection of clothing ,shoes, George accessories - it is convenient. There are also three payment methods - the usual queue ( tape), vending machine and using a mobile device,for every taste. The staff is friendly and adds to the overall positive picture!

+ fuel station ⛽ with fair price.👌
To me it is worth it driving that extra mile be more because it pays off.

Your colleague Karima who works in the SCO always makes my day. She is very helpful. whenever I go shopping, she tells me about the price drop or any ongoing offers that can help me shop better. Once she took the 5 kgs of rice packet from the SCO to the shelf just to ensure I am getting the right products with the right price. I appreciate the public toilet as well. This store is good for muslims to shops because they have so many halal options to choose from. I will request you to add more halal tag products. Thanks

Has scan and go option which is very handy, pick up your scanner at start, keep scanning every item and go through separate checkout at the end.

There is also a party, cards section at the start which is quite good.

Today I went into Asda and needed a trolley but their trolleys are still chained to each other (not sure why still) and to get one you have to have a pound. Well I didn't have one, I don't carry cash anymore let alone a pound. A male employee happened to be pushing trolleys to the shed and I just complained within his ear shot that their trolleys are still chained and need a pound to release one and who carries a pound these days . He replied 'many do actually' and I thought that would be be end of my shopping drinks which I knew would be heavy. But he went on to release one and pushed it my way. 😂😂😂😂 I was so happy at this small but helpful act. It really made my day. Little acts of kindness. Thank you Asda male employee, I did say thank you very much at the time but I still felt I need to say thank you again. And do not tire of being kind, I know customers aren't always kind to you🤔

My go to place. Reasonable prices. Amazing options

This is my favourite every day supermarket due to their prices, plenty parking and I can get there at night when it is not busy.

It is extremely busy over weekends, that's why I would avoid going there on a Saturday or Sunday. But if you can do 9pm at night, then it is much nicer and easier to do, as it is a lot quieter.

The bakery section is really nicely stocked, I always got what I needed.

Great superstore! Foodwise I'm super happy with this place. More vegan stuff than any other British supermarkets and products I haven't seen anywhere else. I didnt really check out the non food items like clothes and cleaning stuff etc. But there seemed to be a big variety with those too :) the only thing was slightly confusing was their overhead signs were a little bit out of order but this may just have been that they were changing stock order.

Great experience shop well socked. Toilets kept clean plenty of staff. Would recommend this shop to family and friends v

Loved this store in first visit and prefer to shop here. I haven’t been to ASDA before and as it was near to my new place I went there. Found items cheaper as well as good quality. The staffs are friendly and polite. Also the petrol station is there with cheaper price than others.

What a big asda..only do side woman was a member staff..at news papers..was so slow at Serving..could not remember what sandwiches she scanned..

ASDA is an affordable superstore, without them,a lot of us will be struggling to live. They run offers which will match those in other stores.

I queued for 5mins with my 1 year old during this difficult time and they let us in, in an orderly and proffessional manner..
They had everything i needed especially nappies and there little angels baby food! Which has made my daughter happy!
Tesco lewisham can learn alot from Asda, if u dont have food on the shelves dont open! Asda always had food on the shelves..thank u, thank u, thank u!🤗😊

The only thing that saved the day from being a wasted journey was filling up with cheap petrol some 5p cheaper per liter than in our area some 30 miles away

This store is the best during lockdown. They have been amazing. Queues move quickly and mostly fully stocked will be using this store as my regular

CHAV TASTIC! 5 STARS FOR CHAV WATCHING!
ASDA Charlton is the number 1 Chav /White Trash/Hoodrat experience I have been to so far. Morrisons Peckham is bad but lacks the Chav/White trash aspect. See how many you can spot! Plenty of sports gear but no athletes at all! Poor nutrition leads to a sallow look in their faces. It's really excellent how many varieties you can see. Tramp stamps and pulled back hair, old beaten tracksuits and jewelery, you've got it all! See how many you can spot! Even take a look outside in the carpark! See them smoking!

0-10 = You must be blind!
11-20 = You need practice... come back tomorrow
21-30 = Good. You've got the eye of the chavster. (It's the thrill of the shop!)
31+ = You are at one with the chav. Be careful, you may find yourself coming back every day as your thirst for chav watching grows!

If you like to feel posh and need a splash to boost your confidence — go to Sainsbury's nearby. This one is for the buying good honest stuff at a reasonable price.
