AOS Express (AOS UK)

Had to order some Filipino, Malaysian and Japanese food and came across this website as my usual online shop was out of stock on many of the items I needed. Placed my order and selected standard delivery which would take between 3-5 days. Completely surprised to receive my order securely packaged the following morning. Brilliant selection of Asian/SE Asian food and health products and super fast delivery. Looking forward to placing my next order!

Only one downside - a bit of products on the website are out of stock, but its understandable in current situation around the world.

AOS Express is a well-organised shop and stocks a wide range of Thai 🇹🇭, Philippine 🇵🇭, Singaporean 🇸🇬, Korean 🇰🇷 and Chinese 🇨🇳 products, amongst others. The staff are very friendly and helpful 👍. When browsing around, I’ve seen many Asian items and ingredients which I couldn’t get in the area easily before, so this shop should definitely make some of my shopping easier 👨‍🍳.

They sell some food from Indonesia, like ABC Soy Sauce, Indomie, Astor, ABC Sambal Ketchup, Tempeh. This store makes my life easier.

Good selection for a small store and I find the people there pretty friendly. I'm very happy I live nearby.

The worse customer service I have seen till now. I did an order which arrived quick but with some items missing and the rest with only 4 days till the expired date. I sent email but they even don't brother to reply back. Very sad I have to used this way to get reply. Thanks for the call and my refund. Next time I will go in to the store.

Needed Ube jam and powder for a recipe so I travelled all the way there from south London. I came with no high expectations due to many reviews remarking on the abysmal customer service at AOS. However today I can safely say the customer service was… also a let down. Nobody comes to help you look for things. The girl who I think was new kinda had an attitude at the beginning via till but she mellowed out once I paid and left. The biggest issue for me was the amount of expired products on the shelves. Various brands of Ube jam were expired from February and March of this year… even the jar I got is gonna go off next month which is annoying as I wanted to purchase more than one but what was the point if they’ll expire before I even get to use them. Wouldn’t go again due to odd atmosphere and many expired products (I was also looking on other shelves and noticed they don’t rotate stock a lot here)

I come to this shop quite often as it's local to me, I deal with the same lady almost every single time and have even spoken to her and asked her for products on multiple occasions. Despite this, she seems to always without fail profile me the second I walk through the door. She's staring at me when I walk in, watching me when I pick stuff up, almost breaking her neck to see if I still have items in my hand or not. I've picked up a drink from the fridge, then gone to the back to look at rice, she has sent her colleague to the back to watch me. He's standing at the end of the isle staring at me, if you have a problem with me being at the back of the store then maybe don't put products there that i'm specifically looking for? I was looking for sushi rice so spent a bit there reading the labels of everything and googling brands of rice that were best etc. so the man decided to come back and look AGAIN to see if i still had this one drink in my hand. For one, the fridge was next to the door, if I was that down bad for the drink would I not have got it then walked straight out? Why would I be walking down the isle's and giving them this opportunity to spot me, it doesn't make sense. These intimidation tactics do not work on me, they only make me want to leave and never come back, I felt so uncomfortable at both their actions that I ended up putting the drink down without buying the rice and just leaving the store because I didn't even want to give them my £1.45 for the drink. During this whole thing I was the ONLY customer in the store for the whole duration, I even stood outside on the phone for a bit and no one else came in, in my opinion if you have no customers and one walks in you should be grateful at this opportunity to make even a little bit of money and treat me kindly, or at least with the BASIC respect you'd treat another person period. Considering I was about to spend £1.45 on a drink they sell in oseyo for 95p and £5.49 on a bag of rice m&s were selling for £2.50 literally only for convenience sake of not wanting to walk too far, it's an insane way to treat a paying and REGULAR customer. Have fun in your ghost town store barely scraping by your daily target due to your customer service and racist profiling tactics. Well done.

Be cautious as the prices at checkout often differ from what's displayed on the labels. As a local, I've experienced this issue multiple times and won't be shopping here again. Other neighbours have reported the same problem. It's disappointing to see this hasn't been addressed yet

Worst customer service ever. Each and every time I have been into this establishment I have been followed around by the staff members and have been made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I tried to give them a chance but they consistently do it leaving me a customer treated like a thief.

I kept waiting at the register, but they kept talking to each other. As if she had finally lifted her weight, she silently paid the bill and started serving another customer. I used to use this store often, but I will never go to this store again. Because none of the staff are good at serving customers.
Buying Chinese ingredients at Sainsbury's or Lidl's is clearly a better deal, and the customer service is good.

I have ordered some products, when they sent it to me they were a month expired. I got in touch with the shop via text message and email for a refund but with no response. First time buyer and will not re purchase as bad customer service.
