Great bargains on everyday medicines and household items that I certainly don't come across easily like a wardrobe dehumidifier. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I bought this frame for my son's drawing to keep beside my bed aa good luck ... love you baba Aansh .. I got the same frame at asda for 10 pounds and sainbury for 9 pounds.. but u won't believe I got it for only 2.49 pounds in poundland.. always things are cheaper here comparing other stores in UK mainly in edinburgh.. happy shopping to you all..

Still raging that Poundland isnt a Pound anymore but that's inflation for you. Always full of the best snacks! Haribo range is second to none.

Great store. Its amazing value. It does everything from fresh sandwich meal deals to air fryer liners to garden ornaments. Not everything is £1 though, but still can't complain. I bought a lovely printed cardboard cupcake box (I bake a lot for workmates!) and when I checked out of my hotel, the assistant remarked on how cute it was! Self sevice and manned checkouts too.

All home needs, veg, meal, stationery, healthcare, hygiene products, OTC medicines, gift items available etc available at reasonable price

Clean tidy store, you just had to manoeuvre round the charges that the staff where using to put out the stock. Pleasant staff.

The place is good and cheap but needs some organisation

Loads of products to choose and cheap prices. But you don’t expect high quality items, you get what you pay for. It’s Poundland but lots of items which are not a pound 😅 which is understandable because of inflation etc.
Staff were nice and accommodating. There are great items for crafters.

I shop here every week or at most every 2 weeks and it's been a great experience. They've got a variety of stuff you will need at very affordable prices.

Small but cheap place for daily necessities

Poundland is always the shopper's paradise if you want to buy things in super reasonable price. Great place to purchase things of everyday essentials in all sorts of categories like kids birthday, kids accessories, kitchen items, foods and all.

Had a very negative experience from a female staff member who had walked up to me in the shop during covid restrictions to ask me if I wanted their specials instead of properly socially distancing. After complaining to management I was then further harassed by this employee on my Facebook page by being trolled. As a frequent customer to this shop I was not prepared to take this lying down and I continue to shop there to this day. Every other employee in the shop has been proficient and polite particularly at Christmas time when I was asked to contribute to a charity for children which made me feel happy. The moral of this story is that it takes only one bad apple to spoil the crop. Unfounded malicious gossip is an unwanted distraction in the retail industry right now however I am happy most of the staff in this shop take customer service more seriously!

One of the best place to go for shopping in Edinburgh. Thousands of items for around just one pound. Additionally, a lot of varieties of products. From stationary items to snacks. Mostly, there is a shop available in every part of the city.

Always have problems with self serve checkouts in superstores, a member of staff (Lisa) overheard me say this and stepped in to save the day! Very friendly, polite and efficient. This lady deserves a medal. From her scanning my shopping, to packing my bag. Honestly couldn't have had better service! Will definitely be returning to this store again. As the name suggests, cheap prices for almost anything you could think of. Great selection of general goods and even snacks/foods.
