Asda Wakefield Dewsbury Road Supermarket

Asda is very good for cheap, tasty food.. . Their 'Essentials' food, which is the cheapest is actually quite nice. Not all of it but some is.. . If I'm a bit skint and have to go for the cheaper brand it isn't terrible is all I'm saying. It's way better than Sainsbury's for example. The price of food at the minute has just gone up so much and I definitely say Asda is the best place to shop if you're on a budget.

Staff are amazing into a tumble there and the staff especially Ali couldn't do enough for me helped me up

On a beautiful Thursday morning, I went to Asda Dewsbury Road.
I desperately needed to run some errands, as my grandparents would come over that evening. Of course, I needed to serve them a delicious and grande five course meal. I must admit that I had not thought about what I wanted to make for dinner yet, so I went unprepared.

After about fifteen minutes of being in a state of utter despair, it was like the heavens opened and my saviour had appeared. He said his name was Alex. He took the time to think with me about dinner, gave me some solid advice and even took the time to walk with me and recommend the best products they had to offer!

The whole ordeal took over an hour, and I asked Alex multiple times if he did not need to go back to his work, but he told me with a friendly smile: ''Don't worry about it!''

After I had gathered all the ingredients, I made sure to thank him profusely. He truly is a very competent, and friendly employee. We even had a lovely conversation about our favourite show.

That night, I served a scrumptious meal that brought my grandparents to tears. They praised me and my cooking skills, but all I can say is, ''thank you Alex for taking the time to help me with my groceries'', best Asda employee by a long shot.

I was especially grateful to Kat yesterday as I had a parcel to return and no clue where to go... At other shops you have to scan or input loads of numbers... Just went up to customer service and Kat sorted it in about 10 seconds and she was so friendly and helpful...

I think there was a man called Alex and he helped me when i dropped my eggs. What a lovely worker.

Staff member Charlie was very helpful and went out of his way to help me with my shopping.

Absolutely packed for a small store .

Good little supermarket most things are here lottery cash machine good amount of food only thing is it’s gets very busy and sometimes getting a disabled spot can be hard as there’s only a few otherwise I would use more as they have smaller trolleys which I need and a spot outside the door due to walking issues. There’s a good amount of quick sale items and that was around lunchtime so if u like bargains great, the veg pizza was beautiful 😀😋

Such a nice small Asda with everything that you need.Lovely stuff that are helpful. I use app and saved lot's on essential products mostly.

Just a quick thank you to one of the lovely lads called chris who went out of is way to get me sorted with some veg that was out of stock i didn't even know he had gone to sort it out he came back with exactly what i needed the staff are all fabulous in this store hope they all get the praise they deserve thanks again young man credit to the store x

I use asda every week staff very knowledgeable and helpful but get in way filling shelves.
They could offer more sugar free foods and things like polo mints sugar free.

I'd just like to say thank you to all your staff always friendly and polite at this difficult time but especially the young guy who was stood at the door today letting people in he always has a smile on his face always has a chat with you if you are waiting for a while and always says thank you and goodbye as you leave excellent customer service in really trying times
